re-tighten it with the water pump wrench. The seal must be leak-free, but do not
damage it by turning it too tightly!
• Perform a complete gas leak check.
• Place the gas bottle in the gas bottle housing and close the door.
Storage
• Check whether the gas bottle valve is properly closed
• Remove the gas pressure regulator and the hose from the gas bottle
• Check the gas bottle for damage and the pressure regulator for a flawless seal. If
you suspect damage or malfunction, change the gas bottle at your gas supplier.
• Always keep a gas bottle in a room with good ventilation. Keep out of reach of
children.
• Never store the gas cylinder in a ground floor, basement or room below ground
level.
• Store the patio heater without a gas bottle in a dry, dust-free and safe area. If
necessary, you can dismantle the patio heater. Use the original packaging.
• Always store the patio heater clean and make sure it is also free of dust and dirt
when you use it again.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Clean the powder-coated surfaces with a soft, damp cloth, if necessary. with
some steel cleaner. Never use highly flammable, corrosive or abrasive cleaning
agents!
• Regularly remove all dirt, soot and dust from the burner head to keep use safe.
• If necessary, cover the patio heater with the optional cover when the patio
heater is not in use.
