5. Never submerge the machine in water, make sure it cannot fall into
water and prevent water from penetrating the machine.
6. Do not wrap the electrical cable around the machine!
7. Connect the machine to a socket which is clearly visible and easy to
reach. Check (before use) if the voltage indicated on the appliance
corresponds to the tension of the electric point to which you want to
connect it. The power supply should correspond to the relevant
regulations and the national instructions. Check whether the socket is
earthed and secured with a 30mA circuit breaker. Always unplug the
heater when not in use! Pull on the plug to remove from the socket,
never pull on the cord!
8. Extension cords may be used only if care is exercised in their use. The
marked electric rating of the extension cord should have adequate
current carrying-capacity and their marked electric rating should
correspond to that of the appliance(s) you want to connect. If you use a
cordreel, unwind the cord than totally!
9. Don’t locate the appliance just above or below a wall socket.
10. Keep all flammable things as furniture, curtains, paper etc. away from
the appliance (at least 1 meter).
11. In order to avoid overheating and fire hazard, do not cover or obstruct
the appliance. Do not put any of the following materials on the
appliance, such as (table)clothes, blanket, pillow, paper etc. The
minimum distance 1 meter between the appliance and flammable
materials must always be maintained.
12. Never expose the heater to strong vibrations or mechanical load.
13. Do not use a timer or a similar product to automatically switch on the
heater. Always perform safety checks before using the heater!
14. The casing of the appliance become extremely hot during operation.
So do not touch the appliance during or shortly after use: risk of scald
