• Do not use the facial-tanning lamp if your skin is still red from sunburn.
• Always take a one-day break after each tanning session. Do not suntan outdoors on
the same day you have used the facial tanner.
• UV radiation can damage the skin and eyes. Therefore, be sure to follow these
instructions closely and always use the protective goggles provided.
• Use the facial tanning lamp alone in a room. People without protective goggle should
stay away from the facial tanning lamp while it is being used.
• Ultraviolet radiation from the sun or UV lamps can damage skin and eyes. These
biological effects depend on the quality and quantity of the radiation and on the
individual sensitivity of the eyes and skin.
• Excessive exposure to UV radiation can cause sunburn, age the skin prematurely,
and increase the risk of skin tumors.
• Never use the facial tanning lamp if the timer, mains lead, or other electrical
mechanisms are damaged or do not function properly. Consult the dealer where you
bought the product.
• Replace the light tubes with the recommended type Cosmedico Cosmolux X
15W/10043. Instructions how to change the lamps please read chapter “changing
lamps” further on. The reflector panel should never be replaced by another type.
• Keep objects subject to discoloration out of the facial tanning lamp's radiation, such
as curtains, bed linen, furniture, paintings, etc. If necessary, cover these with a
sheet.
• Never let the facial tanner be used by children or those who, due to a handicap,
cannot operate the device themselves and/or those who cannot follow the
recommendations in these instructions.
CHANGING THE LAMPS
If tanning results are decreasing a lot (mostly after 300 hours use) you may change the
lamps. ONLY USE COSMOLUX X 15W/10043
1. make sure the facial tanner is switched off and the power cord has been taken out
of the socket
2. remove the covers ( I on drawing 1) by pushing them in the direction indicated
on the plastic
3. remove the tubes by turning them slightly and carefully
4. pun in the new tubes and fix them by turning them into opposite direction
5. put the covers back in place
