Carefully read through this operating manual before using the
programming stick. Store the documents so you can consult
them later and pass them on when forwarding the appliance.

Intended use
Progmatic Blue is used for the simple programming of the
EUROtronic energy-saving controller with a programming port.
The data is sent by Bluetooth from a smartphone or tablet to the
Progmatic Blue. The data is transferred to the energy saving
controller through the plug at the Progmatic Blue. The EUROtronic
programming port at the energy saving controller is only intended
for EUROtronic products. Do not under any circumstances connect
other devices with the Mini-USB connection! Programatic Blue is
not suitable as a transportable storage media.

Progmatic Blue function
PROGmatic enables the convenient stipulation of the heating and
economy times for the EUROtronic energy saving controller from
your Smartphone or Tablet. Following the storage of the room
profi les in your app they can be easily be transferred via Bluetooth
to the Progmatic Blue. You connect your energy saving controller
to the programming port with the plug and now save the profi les
on the energy saving controller. In this case the energy saving cont-
roller also assumes the current time and the date so that an initial
installation of the energy saving controller ceases to apply.
Initial operation of Progmatic Blue
Download the free application „EUROprog“ to your smartphone or
tablet from the App Store (IOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
Open the app following the installation of the
app on your smartphone or tablet. Now select
Progmatic Blue on the homepage
Creation of room profi les
Click on the symbol (+) „top right“
to add a profi le. Rename the profi le
in the „Title“ fi eld intended for this
(e.g. Bathroom). Now set an economy
temperature, comfort temperature
or offset temperature.
Setting of the comfort and economy temperature
You can conveniently set the desired comfort and economy
temperature in the corresponding fi elds by clicking on the
cursor keys on the right margin.
Setting of the offset temperature
Due to the fact the temperature is measured at the radiator it can
also differ at another place in the room. You can set the offset to
bring this in line. If for example you measure 19°C instead of the
21°C that was set, you then set the offset to 2°C.
Time scheme
You have the option to programme all the days individually or to
arrange them in blocks:
Customised comfort times
ON – every day (Monday to Sunday) is assigned an individual
heating/economy profi le.
OFF – The weekdays (Monday to Friday) and the weekends
(Saturday to Sunday) are assigned different heating /
economy profi les.
4 comfort times per day
ON – 4 heating and 4 economy times can be programmed per day.
OFF – 2 heating and 2 economy times can be programmed per day.
Child lock
ON – child lock is active
OFF – child lock is inactive
Set the comfort times
You can now potentially commence the programming of the days/
blocks depending on which time scheme was selected. Click on the
fi eld „Start time 1“ and select a time at which your radiator should
be heating, e.g. 6:00 am. Following this click on the fi eld „End time
1“ and enter a time at which the radiator should switch back to the
economy time.
Holiday function
Here you can enter your holiday times in advance. The energy
saving controllers set the temperature stipulated by you at these
times. A maximum of 6 holiday profi les can be created. Click on the
cursor to the right and select to stipulate the date and time of the
start of your holiday and select it, following this stipulate the end of
the holiday. At the end set the temperature that should apply for the
entire period of your vacation.
Saving of the room profi les
Following the completion of the programming of your room profi les
store your entry „top right“ (fi nished). On the symbol (profi le) „top
right“ you have the option of loading your saved profi les or saving
them under another name.
Editing and Deleting the room profi les
Via the „Return“ function you return step by step in the menu to the
home page. If you have already created several profi les you can
retrieve them again with the „Edit“ function and amend them as you
please. You completely delete the entire profi le using the „Delete“
function.
Transfer to the energy saving controller
1. Enable the Bluetooth function on your smartphone or Tablet
using the settings menu.
2. Click on the icon symbol (transfer) „top right“.
3. Select „Connect“.
4. Plug the Progmatic Blue into your energy saving controller into
which you want to transfer the room profi les you have created.
5. Press the MENU key on your energy saving controller
6. Now press the button on your Progmatic Blue. The red LED on
the Progamtic fl ashes for approx. 10 seconds.
7. During this period select „Progmatic Blue“ in the app.
8. Now the app displays the profi les created by you. Select one
or several profi les (up to 10 profi les) and click on the symbol
(Forward) „top right“. The red LED switches off and the data
was successfully transferred.
„P0 1“ appears on the display of the energy saving controller (in
your app the profi les with the names and Profi le 1, Profi le 2, Profi l 3,
.... etc. will also be displayed to you). Depending on the appliance by
turning the handwheel or pressing the buttons
and the room
profi le to be programmed can be selected for the controller. Only
that number of room profi les will be offered for selection as are
transferred in the app. The room profi le is transferred from the
stick by subsequently pressing the
MENU
or
OK
button.
After it has been successfully programmed the standard display
can once again be seen on the controller. Please note that the
display automatically returns to its basic state if you do not
perform any changes on the controller within approx. 10 seconds.
The Progmatic Blue can now be removed.
INFO: The data is stored for up to an hour in the Progmatic Blue.
If the time on the stick is no longer up to data then the LED will
permanently shine red.
Notice upon the initial commissioning
of the energy control controller:
If you should perform the transfer to a brand new factory energy
saving controller please note that the energy saving controller
performs a commissioning procedure.
• Skip the entry of the date and time by pressing the
OK
button
several times. The correct time is transferred automatically to
the energy saving controller by Progmatic Blue following the
adaption.
• The motor now travels to the ON position to facilitate the assem-
bly. The notice
appears in the display. Now proceed to the
assembly on the radiator as described in the operating instructors
of the controller.
• Progmatic Blue can now be connected to the energy saving
controller.
Cleaning and used appliances
Cleaning
Only use a dry to slightly damp cloth to clean the Progmatic Blue.
Avoid the use of chemical solvents, you may possibly damage the
appliance by using them.
Used appliances
Do not throw used appliances and packaging into the domestic
rubbish. They can be recycled. You can also obtain additional infor-
mation concerning this from your local municipal administration.
Note: All the EUROtronic energy saving controllers with a program-
ming port can be programmed using Progmatic Blue. If you possess
an energy saving controller with an older manufacturing date the
following functions can differ as described below: No negative
value is accepted for „Offset“. If a negative value is entered in the
software this will be ignored in the energy saving controller.

Guarantee information
The guarantee period amounts to 24 months and commences on
the day of purchase. Please retain the receipt as proof of purchase.
During the guarantee period defective Progmatic Blue can be sent
with suffi cient postage to the service address stated below. You will
then receive a new or repaired device in return. A new guarantee
period does not commence upon the repair or replacement of the
device. Following the expiry of the guarantee period you also have
the option of sending the defective device with suffi cient postage
to the address stated below for its repair. Repairs that are required
following the expiry of the guarantee period are subject to a charge.
Your statutory rights shall not be restricted by this guarantee.
