UK HOT AIRFRYER
USER MANUAL
IMPORT ANT . Read these instructions fully before
using the appliance. Retain these instructions for futur e
refer ence.
DANGER
- Never immerse the unit, which con tains electric al
components and the heating elemen ts, in wat er nor
rinse it under the tap .
- Do not let any wat er or other liquid enter the appliance
to prev ent electric shock.
- Always fry the ingredients in the basket , to prev ent
contact with the heating elements .
- Do not cover the air inlet and air outlet while opera ting
and do not put anything on top of the appliance ..
- Do not ll the pan with oil or fr ying fat as this ma y cause
a re hazar d.
- Never touch the inside of the appliance while it is
operating .
WARNING
- Only connect the appliance to an earthed socket with a
corresponding v oltage as indicated on the article.
- Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains cor d or
the appliance itself is damaged.
- If the cor d is damaged it must be replaced by a c er tied
electrician.
- T his appliance can be used by children aged fr om 8
years and abov e and persons with reduced physical ,
sensor y or mental capabilities or lack of e xperience and
knowledge if they hav e been given supervision and
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazar ds involv ed.
- Children shall not play with the applianc e.
- Keep the appliance and its mains cor d out of the reach
of children y ounger than 8 years.
- Keep the mains cor d away fr om hot sur faces .
- Do not plug in the appliance or operate the contr ol
panel with wet hands .
- This appliance is not intended to be oper ated by means
of an external timer or a separate r emote contr ol system.
- Do not place the appliance on or near c ombustible
materials such as a tablecloth or curtain.
- Do not place the appliance against a wall or against
other appliances. L eave a t least 10cm free space on
the back and sides and 10cm free space abo ve the
appliance.
- Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
- Do not let the appliance operate una ttended.
- During air frying, hot steam is r eleased through the
air outlet openings. Keep y our hands and face at a
safe distance from the st eam and from the air outlet
openings. Also be car eful of hot steam and air when
you r emove the pan from the applianc e.
- During use the accessible sur faces ma y become hot.
- Immediately unplug the appliance if y ou see dark
smoke coming out of the applianc e. W ait for the smoke
emission to stop befor e you remo ve the pan from the
appliance.
CAUTION
- Place the appliance on a horizon tal, even and stable
sur face .
- This appliance is intended t o be used in household and
similar applications such as:
‣ Sta kitchen ar eas in shops, oces and other work ing
environmen ts.
‣ F arm houses.
‣ By clients in hotels , motels and other residential
environmen ts.
‣ Bed and breakfast type environmen ts.
- Always unplug the appliance aft er use.
- L et the appliance cool down for appr ox. 30 minutes
before y ou handle or clean it.
- Make sure the ingr edients prepar ed in this appliance
come out golden-yello w instead of dark or brown.
Remove burn t remains.
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove all packaging material .
2. Remove any stick ers or labels from the appliance.
3. Thor oughly clean the basket and the pan with hot
wat er , some washing-up liquid and a non-abrasiv e
sponge.
Note: Y ou can also clean these par ts in the dishwasher .
4. Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a
moist cloth.
PREP AIRING FOR USE
1. Do not place the appliance on non-heat-r esistant
sur faces .
USE
1. Place the plug in an ear thed wall sock et.
2. Carefully pull the pan out of the appliance
3. Place the ingredients in the basket .
4. Slide the pan back into the appliance
Never use the pan without the grid in it .
CAUTION: Do not touch the pan during and sometime
after use, as it gets v er y hot. Only hold the pan by the
handle.
5. Determine the r equired pr eparation time for the
ingredient (see the t op of the air fr yer).
6. T o switch on the applianc e, turn the timer knob to
the requir ed preparation time . Add 3 minutes to the
prepara tion time when the appliance is cold. The timer
starts counting down. Excess oil fr om the ingredients is
collected on the bottom of the pan.
7. When y ou hear the timer , the prepar ation time has
elapsed. Pull the pan out of the applianc e and place it
on a heat-resistan t sur face.
Note: Y ou can also switch o the appliance manually .
T o do this, turn the timer control knob t o 0.
8. Check if the ingredients ar e ready . If the ingredients
are not r eady yet, simply slide the pan back int o the
appliance and set the timer to a few extra minutes .
After hot air frying, the pan and the ingr edients are
hot. Depending on the type of ingredients in the
appliance, steam ma y escape from the pan.
TIP: T o remove lar ge or fragile ingredients , use a pair
of tongs to lift the ingr edients out of the basket.
9. When a serving of ingredients is nished, the appliance
is instantly ready for pr eparing another par t .
SETTINGS
The table helps y ou to select the basic setting for the food
you wan t to prepare .
Note: Keep in mind tha t these settings are indications.
As ingredients dier in origin, siz e, shape as well as
brand, w e cannot guarantee the best setting for your
foods. Because the rapid air technology instan tly reheats
the air inside the appliance, pulling the pan briey out
of the appliance during hot air frying barely disturbs the
process .
TIPS
- Snacks that can be pr epared in an oven can also be
prepar ed in the appliance.
P otatoes & fries 18 min 200°C
Bread 6 min 200°C
Chicken 20 min 200°C
Steak 18 min 200°C
Pastry 10 min 200°C
Fish 8 min 200°C
Note: Add 3 minut es to the prepara tion time when you
start fr ying with a cold appliance.
CLEANING
Clean the appliance after ev er y use.
The pan, grid and the inside of the appliance ha ve a
non-stick coating . Do not use metal kitchen utensils or
abrasive cleaning ma terials to clean them, as this may
damage the non-stick coating .
1. Remov e the plug from the wall sock et and let the
appliance cool down.
Note: Remov e the pan to let the appliance cool down
more quickly .
2. Wipe the outside of the appliance with a moist cloth.
3. Clean the pan and basket with hot wat er , some
washing-up liquid and a non-abrasiv e sponge.
Tip: If residue is stuck to the bask et or the pan, ll the
pan with hot wat er with some washing-up liquid. Let
the pan and basket soak for appr oximately 10 minut es.
4. Clean the inside of the air fr yer with hot w ater and a
non-abrasive sponge .
5. Clean the heating element with a cleaning brush t o
remov e any food residues .

GEVAAR

ver oorzaken.
- Raak nooit de binnenkant van het apparaat aan tijdens
gebruik.
WAARSCHUWING
- Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op een geaar d stopcontact
en contr oleer of de spanning overeenk omt met die van
het apparaat .
- Gebruik het apparaat niet als de stekk er , het snoer of
het apparaat z elf is beschadigd.
- Als het snoer beschadigd is, moet dez e door een
gekwaliceer de elektricien worden v er vangen.
- Dit apparaat kan worden gebruikt door k inderen vanaf 8
jaar en personen met verminder de fysieke, sensorische
of geestelijke capacit eiten en mensen zonder ervaring
of kennis , indien er toezicht op hen w ordt gehouden en
zij instructies hebben gekregen ov er het veilig gebruik
van het apparaat en zij de gev aren ervan begrijpen.
- Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaa t spelen.
- Houd het apparaat en het snoer buiten ber eik van
kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar .
- Houd het snoer uit de buurt van hete opper vlakk en.
- Steek de stekker niet in het st opcontact en gebruik het
bedieningspaneel niet met natte handen.
