Intended use
Unauthorized use
This appliance fulfills the requirements of the Appliance and
Product Safety Law (GPSG) and the EU Directives
2004/108/EC “Electromagnetic Compatibility” and
2006/95/EC “Low-Voltage Directive.”
The appliance bears the CE mark on the rating plate.
This dehumidifier has been designed exclusively as a house-
hold appliance for dehumidifying rooms in living quarters and
must not be used for any other purposes.
The appliance is not suitable for commercial use.
Check if the air filter has been inserted properly before using
the appliance. The appliance must not be used without the fil-
ter.
Use only original Fakir filters and accessories.
If possible, transport the appliance in its upright position. Do
not start using the appliance until one hour after transport.
Wait for at least 3 minutes before switching the machine off
and back on.
Keep doors and windows closed when dehumidifying the
room. Use the exhaust air hose during cooling to discharge
air into the open (through a gap in the window or a wall open-
ing). Observe the operating range of the appliance: room
temperature between 18 - 35º C.
Do not use force to twist or bend the tube connecting the two
components (interior and exterior unit).
Any other use is considered unauthorized and is prohibited.
The examples of unauthorized use listed here can result in
malfunctions, damage to the appliance or personal injury.
● This appliance is not designed to be used by persons (in-
cluding children) with limited physical, sensory or mental
capacities or by persons lacking in experience and/or
knowledge, unless they are supervised by someone who
is responsible for their safety or have received instructions
on how to use the appliance.
