11.4 Winter operation Preparation
Due to the overall vehicle conception, (aluminium sandwich
construction with insulated windows) your caravan is suitable for
winter operation.
We recommend that you optimise your caravan in
accordance with your personal tastes for winter cam-
ping.Your dealer will gladly advise you in these matters.
Wash basin with acrylic glass/mineral surface
(accessory / model / series-specic)
Various caravan models / series have been tted with a wash ba-
sin with a high-quality acrylic glass/mineral surface.
To ensure that you will enjoy this exclusive feature for a long time,
the following instructions from the manufacturer for cleaning and
care must be observed.
• First, use sucient water to wash away any coarse or granular
dirt (e.g. sand).
• Clean the surface with a clean, damp sponge and a bit of de-
greasing household cleaner / dish washing liquid that does not
contain any regreasing substances. Rinse with lots of water and
then wipe dry with a soft cloth (e.g. a dish towel).
• Do not use abrasive or scouring agents.
• Any limescale deposits can be removed with a sponge and a
vinegar-based cleaner or a limescale cleaner that is suitable
for acrylic glass. When using limescale cleaners, dilute them
properly and leave them on for only a short while, then rinse o
with lots of water!
Aggressive chemicals and concentrated cleansing
agents that are not diluted may damage the material
if they are used incorrectly or left on too long.
In addition, please observe the instructions given by
the manufacturer of the household cleaner in question.
Accessories
Rules for upkeep:
• Clean synthetic parts (i.e. bumpers, protective covers) with
warm water (up to 60° C) and mild household cleaner.
• If necessary, grease door hinges and lifting stanchions.
• Clean the fresh water taps, fresh water tank and waste water
tank annually.
Do not use scouring solvents since these could
scratch the surface!
Remove all spray cans with cleaners and polishes from
the vehicle after nishing the upkeep! Otherwise, there
is a danger of explosion at temperatures over 50° C!
