4.2 Extracting wet materials/liquids
Remove the fi lter bag!
Recommendation: use special wet fi lter.
The dust extractor stops automatically when
the maximum level is reached.
After wet extraction, allow the main fi lter to dry!
CAUTION
Escaping foam and fl uids
f Switch off and empty the machine immedi-
ately.
4.3 After fi nishing work
f Switch off the mobile dust extractor and pull
out the mains plug.
f Empty dirt tank.
f Insert the suction hose [5-1] and connecting
pipe [5-2] in the top section. The mains cable
then has to be inserted through the opening
[5-3].
f Clean the vacuum cleaner inside and outside
by suction and wiping.
f Deposit the appliance in a dry room, safe from
unauthorised use.
5 Maintenance and care

f Always disconnect the mains plug from the
socket before performing maintenance work
on the machine!
f All maintenance and repair work which re-
quires the motor housing to be opened must
only be carried out by an authorised service
workshop.

f Clean the level sensors [3-1] and empty the dirt
trap [2-2] regularly.
Observe the following instructions:
– The manufacturer or an instructed person must
perform a dust test at least once a year to deter-
mine whether the fi lter is damaged, the machine
is sealed properly and the monitoring features
are functioning correctly
– Anything that cannot be cleaned must be dis-
carded in impermeable bags. Observe applicable
disposal regulations!
5.1 Changing the fi lter
a) Changing the fi lter bag
Order No.: CTL MINI 498410, CTL MIDI 498411
f Open locking clips [1-4], remove top section
[1-5],
f Change fi lter bag [2-1]–see print on fi lter bag,
f Replace top section, close locking clips.
Note: A replacement fi lter bag can be stored in
the storage compartment [5-4].
b) Changing the fi lter element
Order No.: 456790
Do not operate machine without a fi lter
element. This may damage the motor.
f Open locking clips [1-4], remove top section
[1-5],
f Fold over handle [3-2] and remove holder [3-3],
f Remove used fi lter element (3.4) and replace
with a new one,
f Replace holder and fold over handle until it
latches into place,
f Replace top section, close locking clips.

6 Environment
Do not dispose of the device in household waste!
Recycle devices, accessories and packaging.
Observe applicable country-specifi c regulations.
EU only: European Directive 2002/96/EC stipulates
that used electric power tools must be collected
separately and disposed of at an environmentally
responsible recycling centre.
