To do this, remove the shoulder straps as described in the section for “Harness setting and
adjustment” (6) (7).
Remove the lap strap sections by feeding the metal plate through the windows in the base (19) (20).
To remove the crotch strap feed the metal plate found under the base through the window (21).
Connect the harness connectors and the buckle together and store in a dry and safe place for
future use.
Reverse this process for re-assembly of the harness. Ensure when refitting the harness crotch
strap that the metal plate is completely through the window in the car seat base and flat
against the seat. Ensure the harness straps are not twisted and that the connectors are
positioned to correctly fit the buckle (27) (28) (29).
Maintenance
Removing the Harness
To remove the buckle, carefully pass the metal plate on the underside of the car seat through
the window in the car seat shell until the buckle is free (35). Rinse the buckle thoroughly with
warm water. Allow the buckle to dry.
Check the function of the buckle by inserting the connectors. If you hear a click the buckle is
functioning. If there is no click repeat the process. Leave buckle to dry before re-assembling
on the seat.
