STATION TUNING
CONTROL
Seek tuning
Select a waveband and briefly press
one of the arrow buttons. The unit
will stop at the first station it finds in
the direction you have chosen.
Manual tuning
Sony CD/6CD
•
Press the up or down arrow
button. The display shows the
frequency selected.
Except Sony CD/6CD
•
Press the MENU button until the
MAN display appears.
•
Then press one of the arrows to
tune down or up the waveband
in small increments or press and
hold to increment quickly, until you
find a station you want to listen to.
Scan tuning
Note:
This feature is not available on
certain units and may not appear as
a menu option.
SCAN allows you to listen to 10
seconds of each station detected.
Sony CD/6CD
•
Press the SCAN button. ‘SCAN’
flashes or ‘SCANNING...’ is shown
in the display and each station is
played for a few seconds.
•
Press SCAN again to continue
listening to a station.
Except Sony CD/6CD
•
Press the MENU button
repeatedly until a SCAN display
appears.
•
Use the arrow buttons to scan up
or down the selected waveband.
‘SCAN’ appears in the display and
each station is played for 10
seconds.
•
Depending on the audio unit,
press the left or right arrow button
or MENU again to continue
listening to a station.
STATION PRESET
BUTTONS
This feature allows you to store your
favourite stations so that they can be
recalled by selecting the appropriate
waveband and pressing one of the
preset buttons.
•
Select a waveband.
•
Tune to the station required.
•
Press and hold one of the preset
buttons. The audio unit will mute.
When sound returns the station
has been stored.
