Cassette care
The tape head in the cassette player
needs to be cleaned regularly with a
recommended ‘wet’ cleaning tape
to maintain the best sound quality.
Use high quality cassettes to improve
sound performance and take good
care of them. Avoid those that:
•
are old, worn out, or spliced.
•
are damaged or have a peeling
label.
•
have a total playback time
exceeding 100 minutes. These
use thinner tape that increases
the chance of tangling.
CD care
For best possible sound quality, use
CDs that are clean and in good
condition.
