2. BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Remove all packaging and stickers.
Keep packaging away from children.
First check your appliances for possible damages. If it is damaged, do NOT use
the appliance but bring it back to your sales point.
Clean the appliance as described under ‘Cleaning’ (point 4) before the first use.
The appliance is now ready for use.
Check if the mains voltage of the appliance (230V) is the same as the mains
voltage of your house.
3. OPERATION OF THE APPLIANCE
Completely unroll the power cord and plug in the appliance in a 230 V socket.
Then turn the On/Off switch to the On position. The red pilot lamp will light up.
ATTENTION: the appliance will now get hot. Only touch the On/Off switch and
the handles.
The green pilot lamp will light up as soon as the appliance is ready for use.
You can now remove the plug from the appliance and from the socket.
The appliance will remain warm for about 1 hour.
You can now place your plates, pots, pans, … on the plate. Use pots, pans, …
with a flat bottom for a good contact with the warming tray. ATTENTION: The
surface of the WT 3498 is made off high quality stainless steel. Always gently
place pots, pans, … without moving them on the plate to avoid scratches.
TIP: Cover the dishes to keep them warm for a longer time.
4. CLEANING
Pull the plug from the socket.
Let the appliance cool off entirely
The appliance can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly afterwards.
NEVER use stiff washing-up brushes, only a soft cloth!
NEVER immerse this appliance in water or in any other liquid.
5. USEFUL TIPS IN CASE OF MALFUNCTIONS
Do NOT use the appliance when it is malfunctioning.
The appliance doesn’t warm or the control lamps don’t light up:
Check if your appliance is connected to the right mains voltage, whether there is
mains voltage, and if the appliance was plugged in correctly. If there is still a
malfunctioning, please return the appliance to your sales point.
If the power cord is damaged, don’t use your appliance and return it to your
sales point immediately.

CONDITIONS EXPIRE UPON PROFESSIONAL USE
DEFECTS AND/OR DAMAGES FOLLOWING TO THE NON OBSERVANCE OF
THE USER MANUAL ARE NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY.
