ATTACHING THE SHOULDER STRAP
LOADING THE BATTERY
Compatible Batteries
Open the battery cover, move the battery
release catch aside and take out the battery.

Always switch the camera off when replacing the
battery.

The battery is not fully charged at shipment and
must be charged up before being used.

Do not attach labels or other stickers to the battery
as this could cause the battery to jam inside the
camera.

battery.
1Slide the battery cover out to open it.
2Insert the battery so that the indicators are
aligned and the battery release catch is
pushed aside.
3Check that the battery is locked in place and
close the battery cover.

When you load the battery, the viewfinder lamp
flashes briefly and the lens motor operates. This is
normal and does not indicate a fault.
●
!
Do not apply excessive force to the battery cover.
1Pass the loop of the cord on the end of the
strap through the strap mount.
2Then pass the other end of the strap through
the loop of the thin cord and pull the strap
tight.
