PLAYBACK USING THE REMOTE CONTROLLER
1Connect the remote controller supplied with the camera (➡P.89).
2Set the Mode switch to “2”.

The remote controller cannot be used to play back movies or voice captions.

When HOLD is set, none of the buttons function. To use the remote controller, release HOLD.

Due to the nature of the LCD panel on the remote controller, the display may be difficult to see in cold locations or
at low temperatures. This is normal and does not indicate a fault.

When you are taking pictures at night or in Macro mode, using the remote controller and a tripod is an effective
way to prevent camera shake.

The remote controller cannot be used to shoot movies or record voice captions.

When HOLD is set, none of the buttons function. To use the remote controller, release HOLD.

When you switch the FinePix50i on or change the mode, press “!” or “#” to switch on the LCD display.

When the LCD panel on the remote controller is switched off, you cannot zoom in or out as the first operation.
