The ON/OFF button does not respond properly

Troubleshooting
The system may be processing. ► Wait until the system has completed
processing.
You have not pressed the ON /O FF button long
enough to switch off the notebook.
► Press the ON/OFF button until the notebook
switches off.
The Standby function has bee n deactivated in
the BIOS Setup.
► While the system is booting, press the
function key
F2
, to access the BIOS Setup.
► Activate the Standby function in the Power
menu
The wireless connection to a network does not work

and in the "Wireless LAN" manual. The "Wireless LAN" m an ual can be
found on the "Drivers & Utilities" CD/DVD.
You can find more information on how to use B luetooth on the CD you
received with your Bluetooth software.

The ON/OFF switch for the wireless
LAN/Bluetooth module is in t he "O F F" position.
► Switch your radio component on (refer to
the section entitled "Switching the radio
components on and off" in the Ea syGuide).
The ON/OFF switch for the wireless
LAN/Bluetooth module is in th e "ON" position.
Despite this, the wireless connection to a
network cannot be established.
► Check w het her the radio connection is
switched on via the software.
► Check if the modules in BIOS are activated.

connected to the notebook.
► If you use an a dapter or extension lead with
the mouse cable, check the connections.
