Saws
• Always saw in a relief cut (1) on the
pressure side first
• Then saw in the separating cut (2) on the
pulling side - otherwise the chainsaw may
jam or kickback
ATTENTION
3. Always ensure a safe working position.
Never stand on the branch to be cut.
4. Bring the chainsaw into the cut at full
throttle and (if possible) firmly set the claw stop
- only then saw, preferably work with claw stop
- to have better control of the device. When
working without a claw stop, the device can pull
the operator forward. Pull the chainsaw out of
the wood only with the chain running.
ATTENTION
Watch out for rebounding branches and twigs.
Trim standing trees first from bottom to top,
then saw through the branch from the top.
1. ensure firm stance and do not use a ladder.
Preferably work from an aerial work platform if
the operating conditions allow
2. do not exceed the range.
3. do not saw above shoulder height.
5. 4. always hold the chain saw with both
hands (except for one-handed use of the chain
saw, see section 10.1.5)
