happens often, you’ve probably enabled the automatic
key lock. For this, see paragraph 9.1, ‘key lock’ item.
12.2 PROBLEMS WITH OUTGOING CALLS:
• No dialling tone.
• The outside line is being used by the other handset
(FX-5720 only). Wait until that call is finished and
try again.
• Check the connection between the base and you
telephone socket .
• The power supply is interrupted. Check whether
the adaptor underneath the wired phone is plugged
in and whether the power adaptor is connected to
a wall socket marked 230V (you can verify this by
e.g. connecting a table lamp to the socket).
12.3 PROBLEMS WITH INCOMING CALLS:
• No notification of incoming calls
• The bell is disabled; enable it. (see paragraph 9.1)
• Check the connection between the phone and
your telephone socket (when in doubt, connect a
different phone to your telephone socket)
• You are continuously busy:
• Check whether the other unit (or another phone) is
keeping the line busy.
• Connect another phone to your phone connection,
and use this to check whether the malfunction
originates from your connection or your carrier.
