3. Assembly
ATTENTION ! Safety guard!
AThe guide handle 1is only a safety guard for the
2-handed trigger when the spring z
Sis correctly
inserted.
1. Insert the wide side of the
spring z
Sinto the lower
casing z
aand the lower side
into the upper casing band
close the guide handle 1.
2. Push the guide handle 1over
the slot in the hedge trimmer
and ensure it is fully in place
and the handle hole 2is lined
up with the threaded hole 2.
3. Secure the guide handle 1to the
hedge trimmer using the two screws 3.
4. Operation
DANGER ! Risk of physical injury!
AVAlways disconnect the extension cable 7from
the mains and slide the protective cover 4over
the trimmer blade 5before connecting.
VNever take hold of the protective cover 4when
connecting the hedge trimmer.
DANGER ! Risk of electric shock!
ATo avoid damage to the the mains cord 6the
extension cable 7must be inserted into the cable
lock 8.
VAlways insert the extension cable 7into the
cable lock 8.
1. Loop the extension cable 7,insert the loop into the cable
lock 8and pull tight.
2. Insert the plug of the mains cord 6into the socket of the
extension cable 7.
3. Plug the extension cable 7into a 230 V mains power supply.
