• This appliance may be used only by adults aged of 18 years and
above. The appliance can be used by persons with reduced physi-
cal, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and know-
ledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Even care and cleaning shall not be performed by children
without close supervision. Children must always be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance or any parts of the
appliance or the packaging. Always keep the appliance where it
is dry, frost-free, and clean, and where young children cannot reach
it. Do not leave the appliance or any part of it unattended, when
in reach of young children. Do not use any other but the designa-
ted decanting bottle with the appliance to avoid overheating. The
appliance will work only with the designated decanting bottle. For
operation, only fill wine that is fit for consumption into the decanting
bottle. At the maximum, fill the decanting bottle up to the MAX filling
level (approx. 750 ml) to avoid overheating. When filling, ensure that
the wine will not run out at the exterior of the decanting bottle. Always
wipe off spilled liquids immediately. If wine ran out or is spilled on
the housing, immediately unplug the appliance, then clean and dry
the appliance (see: “Care and Cleaning”).
• Always switch OFF (press the “Power” button; the LCD display gets
dark) then unplug the appliance and remove the decanting bottle,
before moving, or cleaning the appliance, or when the appliance
is not in use. Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is con-
nected to the mains power supply. Always hold the housing of the
appliance at both sides near the bottom for moving the appliance. Do
not hold the appliance at the power cord for moving the appliance.
• Keep the appliance and its parts and accessories clean. Clean the
appliance according to the instructions in chapter “Care and Clea-
ning”. Do not use any abrasive cleaners, cleaning pads (e.g. metal
scouring pads), or any corrosive cleaners (e.g. disinfectants, chemi-
cal bleach) for cleaning. Do not use any hard or sharp-edged objects
with the appliance. Do not place the appliance or any of its parts
or accessories in an automatic dishwasher.
