Congratu lations on purchasing y our Geemarc CL595 telephone.
This telephone offers all the advantages of an easy to see big button
keypad, ideal for those who suffer with poor sight. This telephone is
also hearing aid compati ble.
It is important that you re ad the instruct ions bel ow in order to use
your Geemarc telephone to its full potential.
1 T elephone base , 1 Corded hand set, 1 power adapte rs, 1 T elephone
line cord, 1 Quick user guide.
Connect the telephone cable to the telephone line socket (A) and to
the telephone wall socket (B).
Connect the handset curly cord to the base(E).
Connect the power adapter jack to base (C) then conn ect the power
adapter plug in mains po wer (D).
NOTE:
Use only the power adapter supp lied with the phone.

IN USE : ON during a call.

RING light
● Flashes when there is an incoming call.
● Steadily on when the answering machine is turned on.
Flashes when there are new memos or messages in the
answering machine.

MENU / OK
● In idle mode: Press to access the main menu.
● In sub-menu mode: Press to confirm the selection.
● In Redial list/Call list: Press to store the number into
Phonebook.

● In idle: Press to access the phonebook.

● In idle mode: Press to access the call list.

● In main menu mode: Press to go back to idle screen.
● In sub-menu mode: Press to go back to previous level.
● In sub-menu mode: Press and hold to go back to idle screen.
● In editing / predialing mode : Press to clear a character/digit.
● In editing / predialing mode : Press and hold to delete all the
character / digits.
● During a call: Press to mute / unmute the microphone.
● In ringing: Press to silence the base ringer .
● In idle mode: Press to intercom another system handset.

● In idle mode: Press to dial out to the number stored in the
memory key .
● During a call: press M4 to increase the high frequenc y or the
low frequencies.

VOLUME BOOST / SOS
● During a call: Press to activate/deactivate the VOLUME
BOOST function.
● In idle mode: Press and hold for 2 seconds to launch the
emergency calling se quence set in your phon e.
● In SOS mode: press and hold for 2 seconds to stop the
emergency call .

● In Idle mode or Phone book/ Call list/ Redial lis t vie w mode:
Press to make a call with speakerphone.

● In Idle mode: Press and hold 2 sec until beep to record OGM.
● Press / to stop the recording.
● In T A M message playba ck mode: Press to go back to
previous message.
MEMO / SKIP FORW A RD
● In Idle mode: Press and hold 2 sec until beep to record a
memo and press / to stop the recording.
● In T A M message playba ck mode: Press to skip to next
message.
DOWN / REDIAL LIST
● In Idle mode: Press to access the redial list.
● In menu mode: Press to scroll down the menu items.
● In Phonebook lis t / Redial li st / Call list vie w mode: Press to
scroll down the list.
● In editing mode: Press to move the cursor one character to
the left.
● During a call or T AM message play back: Press to decrease
the volume.

● During T AM MSG play back: Press to playback messages in
slow speed.

DELETE
● In T AM me ssage playback mode: Press to delete the current
T AM message play back.
● In idle mode: Press and hold to delete all old messages.

● In Idle: Press to switch the answering machine ON or OFF .
● The cassette tape icon is displayed on the screen if activate.
After you have connected the po wer adaptor, the display ask s you to
select your t ex t language with the key s ▼/ ▲ , Press
MENU/OK
to valid.
Then enter the date with the keypad an d validate by pressing
MENU/OK.
Then enter the correct hou r with th e keypad and validate by pressing
MENU/OK.
Then select your talking language with the keys ▼/ ▲ , press
MENU/OK to valid.
The phone settings ar e always set in the same manner:
Press
MENU/OK button to open the main menu.
Then use ▼/ ▲ buttons to select an entr y and confirm it by pressing
the MENU/OK button.
The factory preset PIN code is 0000 . E xample:
Set the display language on the base
Press MENU/OK , then select ▼/ ▲ language, press
MENU/OK, then select ▼/ ▲ desired language and then pr ess

NOTE: Up to four handset s can be registered to a single base

Registration a handset
On Base: Press MENU/OK , select ▼/ ▲ REGISTER.
Press MENU/OK to see REGISTERING... (If the registration is
successful, there will be a confirmation beep) .
On Handset: Press
. Use ▼/ ▲ to select HS SETTING .
Press
. Use ▼/ ▲ to select REGISTER.
Press
and REGISTERING is display.
After a short delay, if the registration is successful, there will be a
confirmation b eep, and the hands et display will go back to idle mode
with the new handset number shown. The base display will also go
back to idle mode.
Y our phon e can store up to 50 private phonebooks with names and
numbers. Each phonebook ent ry can have a maximum of 20 digits
for the phone number and 10 characters for the name.
Phonebook entries are sto red alphabetically by name and a re identical
in the base and handset.
T o add new entry
In idle mode:
1. Press
MENU/OK, and ▼/ ▲ to select PHON EBOOK and
press tw ic e MENU/OK to access the ph onebook list (or
empty).
2. Press MENU/OK and select AD D.
3. Press
MENU/OK then enter phone number .
4. Press
MENU/OK and enter the name.
5. Press
MENU/OK to save.
