Navigation Button
OK key : T o valid or confirm a choice.
Up key
Scroll up through lists and menu options.
This is a dedicated key in Standby (Shortcuts). It
ca n b e se t u p i n H a nd se t Se tt in g s i n st an dby mo de .
Scroll up the volume in conversation.
Scroll up the ringer volume during the ringer.
Down key
Scroll down through lists and menu options.
This is a dedicated key in Standby (Calendar). It
can be set up in Handset Settings.
Scroll down the volume in conversation.
Scroll down the ringer volume during the ringer.
Right key
Th is is a dedica ted key in S tan dby (Au dio pl aye r).
It can be set up in Handset Settings.
Left key
Th is is a dedica ted key in S t andby (Use r p rofile s).
It can be set up in Handset Settings.
Call key
Make a call after dialling the n umber .
Receive a call.
Choose one of the last number dialled.
Press this key to enter in Camera function.

Power key / On -hook ke y
Long press to power the telephone on and off.
End a call.
Cancel current process and return to standby .
Signal Strength icon
This is always di splayed when your telephone is switche d
on. It shows the current signal strength. More bars indicate
more signal strength. There is one of these icons per SIM.
Alarm icon
The alarm has been set to ring at a specified time.
Battery Status icon
This is always displayed when your telephone is switched
on. It shows the level of battery charge. M o re bars indicate
more battery charge.
Roaming icon
A r oaming cal l is tak ing p la ce i .e. Int ern atio nal c all–out going
or incoming.
SMS icon
A new SMS (text message) has been received.
Mute icon
T he mi cro ph on e is t e mp or ar il y m ut ed d ur in g th e co nv er sat io n.
Silent icon
The telephone is in silent mode. There will be no call alert .
Only vibrator active.
Ringer + vibrator activated.
Only ringer activated.
Headset icon
The headset is plugged in.
Bluetooth function activated

W hen u npacking th e telephone, you should fi nd the fo llowing in the

Inst all SIM Card and Battery
Always switch the te lephone off and d isconnect the cha rger befo re
removing the battery .
Unclip the cover in the direction shown and pull it off (diagram a ).
Remove the battery (if battery already inside).
Slide a SIM with the gold contact s face down un der the silver SIM
holder as shown below (diagram b ).

reasons to do this, however , one important reason is that if you use
tw o SIM S f rom d iffe ren t prov iders you wil l pr obab ly g et be tter n etw ork
coverage. However , just using one will be fine too!
Observe the battery contacts ( the gold coloured conta cts must face
towards the bottom right).and insert the battery .

Charging the Battery
Plug the charger into a wall socket.

of the te leph one. D uring charg ing, the ba ttery icon sta rt s to f ill.
Before the handset is first used, the batter y must be charged
for a minimum of 4 hours.
Switching On / Off
Press for 3 seconds or longer to switch the telephone on.
If no SI M ca rd h as be en ins er te d, LI MI TE D SE RV ICE wi ll be di spl ay ed
if you try to dial a number . Only emergency calls can be m ade until
the SIM has been inserted.
Press again for 3 seconds to switch the telephone off.
First commissioning
Dur ing th e firs t st art -up y ou will be asked to sel ect th e la nguag e
and to enter the time and da te.
1. Enter the PIN for your SIM card(s) and press OK (Left s oft key).
2. Press YES (left so ft key) two times, select th e language wit h the
keys and press OK .
3. Press YES and enter the hours and the minutes.
4. Press and enter the date.
5. Press on “SA VE” (Le ft soft k ey).
Making a Call
Flip open the cover and dial the number on the keypad.
Press CLEAR soft key to delete an incorrect digit.
Press , the number is automatically dialled.
To end the call simply press .
T o place an int ernat ional call, y ou ne ed to p ress + before the country
code. Simply , press * key twice.
Receiving a Call
W h en a n i nc o mi n g c al l i s r ec e i ve d o n t he te l ep h o ne , t h e ca l l e r ’ s
telephone number will be displayed. If this c aller ’s number is stored
in the Phonebook, the associated name will be displayed.
Rejecting a Call
To reject an incoming call, simply press or soft key SILENT
and then REJECT.
Options During a Call

Create a Phone Book Entry
1. P res s Na mes or M enu Pho neb oo k.
2. Select Add New Contact then press OK .
3. Select T o SIM or T o Pho ne then press OK .
4. Enter name and telephone number (pre s s each time OPTIONS
Edit Enter the information Options a nd select Done , press
▼ and make t he sa me pro ced ure. E ntry u sing the n umeric key pad.
5. Options Save .
The numeric keypad also has characters printed on the keys. These
characters are used for entering text for the purposes of phonebook
entry and modif icatio n, SM S text writ ing and s earchi ng f or a n entry in
the phonebook.
Pre ss e ach key the rele vant numbe r of times to get the lette r you need
e.g. to g et the l etter J, press the 5 key once, to ge t the letter S, pre ss
the 7 key four times in quick succession.
T o move o n to the next letter , wait a few sec onds and the c ursor will
appear | after the last letter you entered. Y ou may now enter the next
letter . T o switch between upper and lower case use the key .
Y ou can a lso sw itch t o num ber s usi ng key . The input mo de will
be indicated on the ri ght hand side of the name entry fi eld i ndicated
by a pencil.
Press 0 to insert a space.

To end the call simply press or flip the cover closed.
