DESCRIPTION
Gemini 7157
Gemini 7157 is a compact, alarm with sensors and siren. Studied for vehicles equipped with
original transmitter and 12V battery –negative to earth.
FUNCTIONS
- Alarm arming/disarming through the controls of the motors and the switches of the doors locks.
- Blinker and electronic siren.
- Perimetrical protection and volumetric protection only for Kit 7157US and Kit 7157HF).
- Positive and negative control for vehicles equipped with “Pack-comfort” system.
- Engine immobilisation.
- Negative control external l additional siren.
- Automatic arming.
- Absorption sensor.
- LED’s memory.
GEMINI 7156. As 7157 not self-powered and without engine immobilisation.
The alarm system is supplied with two mechanical keys for the emergency release.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (for the installer).
- The alarm wiring harness must be positioned away from the vehicle high voltage wires in order to
avoid interference, which could generate wrong working of the system.
- On vehicles with catalytic converter, the engine immobilisation must be carried out on the fuel
pump.
- For systems with volumetric sensors (art. 7157US), the transducers must be positioned at the top
of each windscreen pillar, far from the ventilation or the conditioning air outputs.
- Connect the positive of the alarm system to the battery positive terminal; connect the negative of the
alarm system to the battery negative terminal.
- The unit memorises the polarity of the arming and disarming controls from the vehicle 10 seconds
after the alarm feeding. During these 10 seconds the Led lights fix. In this condition it is possible to
carry out only the “Blinker” exclusion.
- IMPORTANT: to obtain the correct working of the automatic arming and perimetrical
protection functions, it is COMPULSORY to connect the GREEN-BROWN wire to the door
switches.
CONNECTION TO THE RADIO RECEIVER
For vehicles with original positive control receiver, follow the fitting diagram A.
For vehicles with codified receiver with a single control switch, negative to rest, follow the fitting
diagram C.
For vehicles with codified receiver with a double control switch, negative to rest, follow the fitting
diagram D.
For vehicles with codified receiver with button or control switch free to rest, follow the fitting
diagram E.
For vehicles with codified receiver and central door locking closure control supplied
with alarm connection, follow the fitting diagram F.
