PROGRAMMING THE ALARM SYSTEM
Has been prevously programmed with standard configuration during
manufacturing procedure by Gemini.
Visual/acoustics functions (blinker/chirp) during arming/disarmin of the
system, are included in the standard configuration.
That can be modified anytime.
Cutting off the power supply of vehicle electrical equipment, no programmed
functions are changed.
To modify the visual/acoustic signalling see next paragraph.
To program the other functions see dip-switch table.
PROGRAMMING OPTIC/ACOUSTIC FUNCTION
In this section we describe the procedure to programming the optic/acoustic
function (blinker e chirp).
! With alarm being disarmed, open the driver side door of the vehicle and
keep it open.
! Turn the ignition key in “ ON” position.
! Introduce the electronic key in the specific receptacle or press the button on
Led (in case the system is not equipped with electronic key).
! Starting of programming procedure is indicated by one high tone (BEEP)
and two loud tones (BOOP); if this does not occur, repeat the procedure from
the beginning.
Possible programming operations are:
! Exclusion of turn signal flashing, when the alarm is armed or disarmed, by
putting once the electronic key in the specific fob or by pushing once the
button on the Led (for 7621 only). The alarm system will send out a short
high tone signal (BEEP).
! Exclusion of system's acoustic activation deactivation (chirp), by putting
twice the electronic key in the specific fob or by pushing consecutively twice
the button on the Led (for 7621 only).
The alarm system will send out a short high tone signal (BEEP) to each
insertion of the ignition key or pressure of the button.
! Exclusion of both functions, by putting for three consecutive times the
electronic key in the specific fob, or by pushing for three consecutive times
the button on the Led (for 7621 only).
The alarm system will send out a short high tone signal (BEEP) to each
insertion of the ignition key or pressure of the button.
! Turn the ignition key in "OFF" position.
EMERGENCY DISARMING WITH ELECTRONIC KEY
(ONLY 7624 E 7622)
This kind of disarming is considered as an “EMERGENCY DISARMING”
Insert the electronic key into the specific receptacle, the system will be
disarmed and turned off.
For re-arming does not occur when the user presses the lock button of the
vehicle.
To restore the normal operation, you must put again the electronic key into the
specific fob.
One short acoustic signal and one state Led flashing will confirm the alarm
arming.
EMERGENCY DISARMING WITH PIN-CODE
In the alarm system withount electronic key, for the emergency disarming must
use the PIN-CODE.
This function allows the user to disarm the device, when available radio
controls have been lost or they are not functioning.
The foreseen PIN-CODE is composed of four digits, from of 1 to 9.
The manufacturer's setting is 1-1-1-1 and are the same in all the alarm system.
Due to brevious safety reasons, we reccomend to replace this original code
with another user’s customized code.
Please see at the relative paragraph for pin-code programming (pag.12).
PROGRAMMING OF NEW ELECTRONIC KEYS
The alarm can be memorized 4 electronic key.
Follow the procedure below to do this operation.
! Bring the dip-swithc N°6 in”ON” position.
! Turn the vehicle ignition key in “ON” position.
The alarm will confirm that the programming has been enabled with an
optical signal by the direction indicator lights, two acoustic signal with high
tone and two acoustic signals with low tone.
! Insert the electronic key in the receptacle.
The alarm will signal the memorization of the electronic key with an opticall
signal by the direction indicator lights, two acoustic signal with high tone and
two acoustic signals with low tone.
Repeat the same operation to memorize other electronic keys.
! Bring the dip-swithc N°6 in“OFF” position.
! Turn the vehicle ignition key in “OFF” position.
! The end of this procedure will be indicated by a LED blinking.
