SINGLE: PressingtheSINGLE button engagesSINGLEmode, in this
m
ode the CDX-2500G willplay one song and then stop.Pressing the
SINGLE button again will then activateCONTINUOUS mode causing
the unit to play continuously (after the last track, the unit will return to
the first track of the disc and continue to play).
TIME: The TIMEBUTTON switches the time displaybetween three
availablesources, these three are TIMEELAPSED on the track, TIME
REMAINING on the discandand TIME REMAINING on the track.
TIME ELAPSED indicates howmuch time has currently gone by since the
playbutton waspressed, TIME REMAING ONDISC will count downthe
time remaining on theentirediscand TIME REMAINING ONTRACK
counts down the time that is left beforethe end of thetrack.
PITCH:Pushing the PITCH button(thebuttonwill light up blue) activates
the PITCHCONTROL SLIDE. Thepitch or speed of theCD will change
plus or minus 12%dependingon the position of thePITCH CONTROL
SLIDER. Push the PITCHbutton againto deactivate this mode.
PITCH CONTROL SLIDE: Movingthe PITCHCONTROL SLIDE
upor down willlower orraisethe pitch percentage+ or-12%.
PITCH BEND: Pushing the PITCH BEND BUTTONS will automatically
raise thepitch up to+16% orlower the pitch down to-16% from the
existingpitch setting.Releasing thebuttonswill return thepitch
tothe original pitch setting. You canuse thisfunction to match the beat
whenmixingfromone songto another
LOOPSECTION: A LOOP repeats thesection betweenthe entry point
(IN)and theexit point(OUT). Toset a loopwhile theunit isplaying,
startbypressing the INBUTTON(it will light up)and when youreach
thedesiredend looppointpress theOUT BUTTON (itwill also light up).
Theloop will continueplaying until youpress theOUT BUTTONagain
allowingthe musicto continuefromthat point on,to re-engagethe loop
you must press theRELOOPBUTTON.Whenyouhavereleased your
loopthe OUTBUTTONwillturnOFF andthe IN BUTTONwill remain lit
toindicatethat your loop is stored in theCDX-2500Gmemory.Pressing
theIN BUTTON again while the unitis playingwill erase the previously
saved loopwhilesaving yournewloop entrypoint.Press OUTto exit the
loopand save anew complete loop.
Press RELOOPto return tothe beginning of thepreviously savedloop
from normalplay.PressRELOOP repeatedlyto causethe loop to stutter.
NOTE: THEFIRSTLOOPWILLHAVE APAUSEATTHE EXITPOINT,
WHILEALLOTHERSWILLBE SEAMLESS.
PLAY/PAUSE:Each pressof the PLAY/PAUSEBUTTON
causes the operationto change from PLAYtoPAUSE or fromPAUSE
back toPLAY.The PLAY/PAUSE BUTTONremainslit whenin PLAY
mode,while itblinksin PAUSEmode.
CUE:Whilethe unit isplaying andafter thecue point has been
programmed, pressing CUE willcausethe CD player to enter the
PAUSE mode(PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON blinks) at the programmedcue
point (the CUELED islit).Holding downthe CUE button
changes thefunctionto preview ,and allowsyouto stutter start orplay
from theprogrammedCUEPOINT Releasing the CUE buttonwill return
theCD tothe presetCUE point.
STOPBUTTON: When pressedthe STOPBUTTONstopsthe playback
of the CDplayer.

TRACKSELECTION: TheTRACKSELECTIONbuttonslet you select
thetrack toplay. +10 allows you to scan through thetrack selection
inincrementsof 10. TRACKSKIPallows you toscan througheach
trackone ata time.

DGOPERATIONS:
1. After making theproperconnections & thepowerfor the unit ison,
press the OPEN/CLOSE button,place a CDG inthe DISC TRAY&
press the OPEN/CLOSE button again. The traywillclose intothe unit.
2. Turnon themonitor screen & waituntilthe CDX-2500Greadsthe
CDGdisc. When the monitor ison& thedisc isread, the title track
should appearon the screen.
3. Push theTRACKSKIP buttons toselect thetrack you wantto play.
4.Pressthe PLAY/PAUSE buttons & theunit willinstantlyplay.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
-If adisc willnot play,check tosee if thedisc was loaded correctly
(label side up). Also check thedisc for excessivedirt, scratches, etc.
-If thedisc turnsbut there is no sound, check thecable connections,
if they areok, check youramplifieror reciever.
-If theCD skips, check theCD for dirt orscratches. Donot assume that
theCD playeris defective. Manycd’s are recorded outof spec and
willskip onmost orall CDplayers.Before sendingthe unitforrepair,
tryplaying a CD that you aresure plays properly.
