Do not use pump at outside temperatures over 40 °C

or under 0 °C

In cold weather, the pumping body motor should not

bewrapped in a blanket or another piece of textile

with intent toprevent the water freezing.

The user is responsible to third parties if pump (dum-

ping stations, etc.) is used.

Requirements for operating sta

The operating sta must carefully read the Opera-

tingInstructions before using the appliance.

Qualication: Apart from the detailed instructions

by aprofessional, no special qualication is necessary

forappliance using.

Minimum age: Persons over 16 years of age can

only workon the appliance.An exception includes

youngsters trained in order to reachknowledge

under supervision of the trainer duringoccupational

education.

Training: Using the appliance only requires corre-

spondingtraining by a professional or the Operating

Instructions. Nospecial training is necessary.

Emergency procedure

Conduct a rst-aid procedure adequate to the injury

and summon qualied medical attendance as quickly

as possible. Protect the injured person from further

harm and calm them down. For the sake of eventual

accident, inaccordance with DIN13164, a workplace

has to be ttedwith a rst-aid kit. It isessential to

replace any usedmaterial in the rst-aid kitimmedia-

tely after it has been used. If you seek help,state the

following pieces ofinformation:

1. Accident site

2. Accident type

3. Number of injured persons

4. Injury type(s)

Maintenance

Before carrying out any work on the machine,

disconnect the plug from the socket.

Prior to every use, visually check the machine to rule

out any defects, in particular on the power cable and

the plug.

The machine must not be used under any circum-

stances if the machine or the safety devices are

damaged.

Refer all servicing to customer service. Use only origi-

nal accessories and original spare parts.

Caution: Standing water may corrode (brownish

colour) in the pump according to design.

At winter storing, it is necessary to make sure there is

no water in the appliance as the frost could damage

the appliance. Prior to transportation, it is necessary

to unplug the pump from the grid! The device has to

be completely emptied and stored with frost-proof

protection. Adhesion of mechanical seals can be

prevented if you rinse the pump with appropriate oil

(for example, with vegetable oil).

Only a regularly maintained and treated appliance

can serve as a satisfactory aid. Insucient mainte-

nance and care can lead to unforeseen accidents and

injuries.

Guarantee

Guarantee claims as per guarantee card attached.

The guarantee solely covers inadequacies caused

by material defect or manufacturing defect. Original

payment voucher with the sales date needs to be sub-

mitted for any claim in the guarantee period.

The guarantee does not cover any unauthorised

use such as appliance overloading, use of violence,

damage as a result of any unauthorised interference

or caused by foreign items. Failing to follow the ope-

rating and assembly instructions and common wear

are also not included in the guarantee..

GÜDE cannot be held responsible for damages

incurred in consequence of unqualied installation or

unskilled handling of the pump.

The device has to be checked on a regular basis to

ensure perfect functioning.

Let us refer to the fact we do not assume any respon-

sibility – according to standards in force – for damage

eventually caused by our appliances in the below-

mentioned cases:

• Unprofessional repairs executed by unauthorised

service centres;

• Use in conict with the designed purpose, or failure

to observe the use as designed;

• Pump overload with a continuous run;

• Damage as a result of icing or any other fault caused

by climatic inuences;

Identical regulations apply for accessory parts.

To prevent damage (such as ooded rooms, etc.) as a

result of faulty pump operation (failure or fault) the ow-

ner (user) is obliged to take reasonable safety measures

(alarm assembly, spare pump, etc.).
