Using the network mailbox

You have selected the fixed line network connection:
~ Enter or change the phone number for the network mailbox if neces-
sary.

You cannot activate/deactivate the network mailbox for the fixed line network con-
nection via the handset. For instructions on activating/deactivating the network
mailbox, see the information provided by the network provider.
Configuring a answering machine for quick dial
You can use quick dial to make direct calls to a network mailbox or the integrated
answering machine on the phone.
Assigning key 1, changing assignment
Fast access settings are handset-specific. You can assign a different answering
machine to key on each registered handset.
No answering machine is preconfigured for quick dial in the default settings.

The list of VoIP connections and the fixed line connection assigned to the handset
as receive connections is displayed. Net AM: xxx is displayed, where xxx is replaced
by the respective standard name of the connection (Net AM: IP1 to Net AM: IP6,
Net AM: Fixed Line).
On the Gigaset N300A IP: This list contains the entry Answ. Machine for the phone's
local answering machines.
