Cleaning and care
Your weather station can be cleaned using a soft cloth. The cloth can
be moistened slightly and a drop of dishwashing detergent can be
applied.
CAUTION: Never use strong detergents, e.g. abrasive liquid, abrasive
powder or liquids containing solvent.
Minor scratches can be removed using polishing paste. You can obtain
display polishing paste in DIY shops or mobile phone shops.
Displays
Problem
The DCF77 signal for the time
cannot be received.
The temperature display on the
transmitter does not correspond
to the display on the receiver.
The temperature displayed on
the transmitter appears to be too
high.
The weather station is not recei-
ving any signals from the trans-
mitter or is flashing.
Troubleshooting
Solution
Do not position the weather
station near electrical devices.
Start the radio reception manually
(see Page 103).
Ensure that the transmitter’s
signal is being received. Synchro-
nise the radio link manually, by
pressing the Search (7) button for
3 seconds. If the same frequency
is being used in the neighbour-
hood, change the house code
(Page 99-100).
Check that the transmitter is not
exposed to direct sunlight.
Repeat the manual learning
process (see Page 101-102). The
outside temperature must not
be below –30°C. Ensure that no
electrical disturbance sources are
new the transmitter or the wea-
ther station. Check the batteries in
the transmitter. Move the weather
station closer to the transmitter,
or vice versa.
