- Gently tap on the scale with your foot until "0.0" appears
on the display unit.
- Step on the scale and stand still. Your weight will be
displayed on the display unit.
- Step off the scale. When "0:0" appears again, the scale is
ready for new weighing.
- The scale will switch off automatically after 10 seconds if
you do not step onto it, or after 15 seconds if you are
standing on it.
In case of any problems during use, please check
the following:
- Are the batteries correctly placed?
- Have you selected the right weight unit?
- Is the scale on level floor and not touching any walls?
- Do not step onto the scale before "0.0 kg" appears on the
display unit.
- If "Lo" appears on the display after you gently tap on the
scale with your foot, then the batteries have to be
replaced.
- If "Err" appears, then the scale has been overloaded or
there was an error in measurement and the weighing has
to be repeated.
Cleaning, maintenance and storage
Switch off the appliance before cleaning or maintenance.
Use soap and a damp cloth for cleaning. Do not use any
abrasive or solvent-based cleaners to clean the appliance.
Do not immerse any part of the appliance in water or any
other liquid.
Checking and replacing the batteries
* If the display shows , the batteries are nearly
empty and must be replaced.
* Periodically open the battery compartment and check the
batteries. Leaked or corroded batteries can destroy the
appliance.
* To replace the batteries, open the battery compartment,
remove the old batteries, and insert the new ones.
* Never discard empty batteries with household waste.
Discard them into the specially labelled waste bin.
Protect the environment!
Environment
After the expiry of its useful life, do not discard the
appliance with common household waste. Rather,
take it to an authorized recycling centre. This will help
preserve the environment.
This equipment is labelled in compliance with the
European Directive 2012/19/EC on waste electric
and electronic equipment – WEEE. The Directive
specifies the requirements for collection and
management of waste electric and electronic
equipment effective in the entire European Union.
