Installing the car radio
Please let install your car radio by a specialist. In doing this, you
create the basis for a correct operation of your car radio. Installa-
tion hints are to be found from page 41.
Traffic safety
Before making a drive, please familiarise yourself with the various
functions of the car radio.
Operating your radio at too high volume while driving can
endanger you and others in the traffic. Therefore, always adjust the
volume so that you can still hear outside noises (e.g. car horns,
police and emergency vehicles, etc.). Set the volume with the »
O«
control knob.
During traffic announcements the volume may be considerably
higher than during normal operation. See als page 36, chapter
“EXPERT control level”.
