Switching Dolby B NR on and off
1 Press the »=« button briefly.

– The Dolby noise reduction system is activated.
2 Briefly press the »
=« button again.
– Indication in the display: »
=« goes out.
– The Dolby noise reduction system is deactivated.

Activating/deactivating the tape type switch-
over function
1 Press the »CR« button until the signal sounds.
– Indication in the display: »CR«.
– The CR mode is activated.
2 Press the »CR« button again until the signal sounds.
– Indication in the display: »CR« goes out.
– The CR mode is deactivated.
Note:
Before switching the radio off always eject the cassette by
pressing the »y« and »m« buttons. This preserves the
cassette from unnecessary wear.
The radio is only optimized for chromdioxide (CR) tapes (C60
and C90 cassettes).
When the traffic announcement standby is activated, cassette
play will be interrupted during the traffic announcements. To
switch this function off, briefly press the »TP« button.
