The pre-programmed satellite channels
The satellite receiver is already pre-programmed at the factory to the current
digital TV and radio channels of the ASTRA and EUTELSAT/Hotbird satellite.
New channels arrive again and again and tansponder frequencies are changed.
You may programme new satellite channels using the automatic satellite
channels scan or by manually entering the transponder data. In this way you
may update again and again the channel positions of your satellite receiver.
The current transponder data can be called up via the teletext pages of various
TV stations (e.g. SAT1 or 3SAT), via the Internet, or they can be found in a
current satellite magazine.
The automatic satellite channels scan
In the »Satellite Scan« menu you may let search for all receivable TV and radio
channels of a selected satellite.
Note
As not all broadcasters adhere to the standards of digital TV or do not
broadcast around the clock, it may happen that a different number of
channels is found during several search procedures.
1 Display the »Main Menu« on the picture screen using the »
i
« button.
2 Select the »Installation« row using the »
,,..
« buttons then press the
»OK« button.
– The »Installation« menu appears on the picture screen.
