After switching on the satellite receiver, the following message appears on the
picture screen:
CAM initializing
Note
If no CA module has been inserted into the satellite receiver, the following
message appears on the picture screen:
No smart card in the slot.
Please insert your card.
4 After pressing the »OK« button a menu which is generated by the CA
module appears on the picture screen.
– After entering your PIN code into this menu you get access to the different
channels offered by your Pay-TV provider.
Note
If no smart card has been inserted into the CA module, the following
message appears on the picture screen:
Please insert your card.
5 Insert the smart card into the CA module.
Note
If a satellite channel which is not covered by the smart card is selected, the
following message appears on the picture screen:
No Authorization.
In the »Module Information« menu the provider of the card inserted in the CA
module is indicated.
– In the example, a Viaccess card is inserted in the upper compartment.
6 Press the »
i
« or »TXT

« button to exit the menu.
