button for at least 1 second.
This delay prevents the radio from being
switched on inadvertently, or
– insert a CD. The set switches on automati-
cally and plays the CD, or
– switch on with the ignition/starter switch
of the vehicle if the car radio has been
switched off with this switch.
ǺǺ This function can be altered in the EXPERT
control level, see page 14, EXPERT
7, or
switch on.
– after having switched off the car radio with
the igntion/starter switch of the vehicle
– switch on by pressing the
¡
IO
button.
ǺǺ If you now leave the ignition/starter switch
in its off position, the car radio is automati-
cally switched off after 1 hour, see also
page 19/A4.
It is possible to switch the car radio off
at any time by briefly pressing the
¡
IO
button.
It is also possible to switch it on repeatedly.
í When switching on the car radio, the
automatic aerial will automatically be
extended!
For this reason, always switch off the car
radio before visiting a car wash!
