Your radio recorder has a switch-on timer, which turns the device on and off
at a pre-set time.
Setting the switch-on timer
Notes:
The clock on the device must already be set. When setting the time, if no
button is pushed for more than 10 seconds, the system will end the pro-
cedure automatically. You then have to start over.
1 In standby mode, hold down »INTRO/REPEAT/TIMER«.
– Display: »
w« and »ON«, the hours display flashes.
2 Set the hours for switching on using »TUNING

3 Press »INTRO/REPEAT/TIMER«.
– Display: »
w« and »ON«, and the minute display flashes.
4 Set the minutes for switching on using »TUNING

« on the device.
5 Press »INTRO/REPEAT/TIMER«.
– Display: »
w« and »OFF«, the hours display flashes.
6 To enter the switch-off time, repeat steps 2 to 4.
7 Press »INTRO/REPEAT/TIMER«.
– Display: »
w« and »CD«.
8 Select the Radio or CD input source using »TUNING

Note:
If you select CD, make sure that a CD has been inserted.
9 If you select Radio, set the desired channel position with »R-SKIP

10 Press »INTRO/REPEAT/TIMER«.
11 Set the desired volume using »VOLUME +

12 Press »INTRO/REPEAT/TIMER« to finish the settings.
Ending the switch-on timer for today
1 Press »

STANDBY« to switch off the device during the switch-on
time.
– The switch-on timer remains activated for the next day.
Switching the timer on and off
1 To deactivate the switch-on timer, press »INTRO/REPEAT/TIMER«
briefly in standby mode.
– Display: »w« disappears from the display.
– The switch-on timer for the next day is deactivated.
2 To activate the switch-on timer, press »INTRO/REPEAT/TIMER«
briefly in standby mode.
