Your radio recorder has a switch-on timer, which turns the device on and off
at a pre-set time.
Setting the switch-on timer
Note:
The clock on the device must already be set. If, when setting the time, no
button is pushed for a period of longer than 10 seconds, the system will
end the process automatically. You then have to start again at the begin-
ning.
1 In standby mode, press and briefly hold down »TIMER«.
– Display: »
w« and »ON«, the hours display flashes.
2 Set the hours for the switch-on time with »TUNING

3 Press »TIMER«.
– Display: »
w« and »ON«, the minutes display flashes.
4 Set the minutes for the switch-on time with »TUNING

5 Press »TIMER«.
– Display: »
w« and »OFF«, the hours display flashes.
6 To enter the switch-off time, repeat steps 2 to 4.
7 Press »TIMER«.
– Display: »
w«, »CD« flashes.
8 Select the tuner or CD input source using »TUNING

10 Press »TIMER«.
11 Set the desired volume using »VOLUME+

12 Finish the settings with »TIMER«.
Deactivating the switch-on timer
1 To deactivate the switch-on timer, press »TIMER« briefly in stand-by
mode.
– Display: »w« disappears.
– The switch-on timer for the next day is deactivated
or
Switch off the device while it is ready to switch on with »ON/OFF«.
– The switch-on timer remains activated for the next day.
