Manual settings
If the device was not able to carry out a station search and synchronisation
due to bad reception, then you can manually set the radio stations, time and
date. You should nonetheless try to improve the reception conditions by
aligning the FM and DCF antenna.
Tuning radio stations
There are 10 channel positions available for radio stations.
1 Press »
ON/OFF
« to switch on the device.
2 Begin the station search by pressing and holding down »S« or»A«.
– The search stops as soon as a radio station with a sufficiently strong
signal is found.
– You can also set the frequency of the programme step-by-step
(50 kHz) by briefly pressing »S« or»A«.
3 Save the radio station by pressing »MEMORY«(»M« flashes in the
display ), select the desired channel position within 20 seconds with
»1/6 ... 5/10« and confirm with »MEMORY«.
– Press »1/6 ... 5/10 « once for channel positions 1 ... 5, and twice
for channel positions 6 ... 10.
– Display: the frequency and the selected channel position, e.g. »M 1«.
4 To set further radio stations, repeat this procedure starting at pt. 2.
Note:
If no channel position is selected within 20 seconds, the device
interrupts the setting procedure. Start again at Step 3.
Setting the time and date
If your device cannot automatically receive the time and date, you can set
both of them manually.
1 Press »ON/OFF« to switch the device to stand-by mode.
2 Press »MEMORY«.
– Display: the hours flash.
3 Press »S« or »A« briefly to set the hours step-by-step or hold down
to run through the hours quickly.
4 Press »s«.
– Display: the minutes flash.
5 Press »S« or »A« briefly to set the minutes step-by-step or hold
down to run through the minutes quickly.
6 Press »MEMORY«.
– Display: the day of the week flashes.
7 Press »S« or »A« briefly to set the day step-by-step or hold down to
run through the days quickly.
