Dear customer,
so that it will be easier for you to make a selection and enter the necessary settings, we have pre-
programmed most of the channel positions available via this satellite receiver using all the settings
required.
The pre-set satellite channel positions available via this receiver are shown separately on the enclosed
table of stations.
This table does not claim to be either complete or fully up-to-date.
Current satellite data can be called up using the Teletext tables of the various satellite channels
(eg SAT 1 or 3SAT Text), or via Internet, and will also be available in any current satellite TV guide.
You will, of course, be able to re-programme "new" satellite channels in an easy and straight-
forward way.
The television's on-screen menus provide the dialogue between the user and the receiver.
The receiver will respond to many of the functions selected via the remote control by displaying info
menus and on-screen symbols on the TV screen.
In a simple and understandable way, you will be guided step-by-step to the next setting available.
We have also provided you with a symbol card, which sets out all the symbols used in the menu and
gives an explanation of each one.
Using the sub-menus you can
programme the Timer;
lock the satellite receiver;
change individual channel positions;
change channel position settings, e.g. the transmission frequency, set the LNC polarity,
change sound settings, choose decoder settings,
change the contrast settings;
enter the basic settings (installation), e.g. LNC oscillator frequencies, LNC voltage on/off.
