Datalink – Data transmission
It is possible to transfer the entire set of memory data from
one receiver to another.
For this, connect the VCR sockets
´I
of both receivers with a
Cinch cable.
Switch on the receiving (target) receiver.
On the transmitting (source) receiver, press and hold down
the ɦ button when switching it on. The programme data is
then sent to the target receiver. During the data transfer, the
LED display indicates "SEnd" (send data). If the programme
data is recognized by the target receiver, its LED indication
changes from the programme position number to "rEC"
(receive data).
The data transmission takes approx. 100 seconds. When the
transmission was successful, the displays of both receivers
indicate "P1" for the programme position number 1.
If an error should occur during the data transfer, the display
of the target receiver indicates "Err". If this should be the
case, repeat the data transmission.
Setting the volume level
With the universal remote control handset TP 720 SAT, you
can set the volume level for a large number of TV sets. For
this, simultaneously press the
¢
TV
SAT
button and one of the
x
c
buttons (see also chapter "Universal Remote Control
Handset").
Designating stations
If you press the
O
button on the remote control longer than
3 seconds, you access the menu for designating stations. For
example, the following display appears on the picture screen:
The selected line is marked in light grey. You can change the
data in this line. To do this, use the
]|
buttons to select
the following line:
Enter the desired programme position with the numeric but-
tons on the remote control. Use the
¢
RADIO
button to switch
between SAT-TV stations (indication: TV) and SAT-radio sta-
tions (indication: RADIO).

button to select the line:
Use the
xc
buttons to select the position of the first cha-
racter you wish to change (this becomes darker), and use the
]|
buttons to select the desired character. When the
desired station name is entered, you can
store the current setting with the
O
button on the
remote control. You pass automatically to the next pro-
gramme position the station name of which now can
also be changed.

store the new station name with the
.
button on the
remote control and exit the menu.
