Explanations to the Station Table
ķ
26
Enclosed you will find a table of the current TV and radio pro-
grammes of all satellites between 63° East and 45° West.
This table serves for information only. For the latest state
refer to corresponding programme guides or special
magazines.
Explanation of the terms used in the table:
L: This programme will still be transmitted for a short time
by this satellite. It is to be transmitted in the future by
the Hotbird satellite.
P: This programme is planned for the Hotbird satellite.
X: These broadcasts are entirely or partially encoded.
They can only be received by means of an external
decoder (descrambler).
Polarization:
V: Vertical (required LNB voltage: 14 V)
H: Horizontal (required LNB voltage: 18 V)
CL: Circular, left-rotating
CR: Circular, right-rotating
1) This frequency indication corresponds to the satellite
transmission frequency.
LNC oscillator frequency: 9.75 GHz.
Receiver programming: 9.75 GHz.
The figures outside the brackets are shown in the
display.
2) This frequency indication corresponds to the LNC
output frequency.
LNC oscillator frequency: 10.750 GHz.
Receiver programming: 10.0 GHz
3) This frequency indication corresponds to the LNC
output frequency.
LNC oscillator frequency: 10.050 GHz.
Receiver programming: 10.0 GHz
4) This frequency indication corresponds to the LNC
output frequency.
LNC oscillator frequency: 10.475 GHz.
Receiver programming: 10.0 GHz
5) This frequency indication corresponds to the transmis-
sion frequency in the lower frequency range of the
satellite or to the LNC output frequency in the upper fre-
quency range when using an ASTRA universal LNC with
the
LNC oscillator frequencies: 9.75/10.6 GHz
Receiver programming: 9.75 GHz
Note:
Programming of the LNC oscillator frequency is to be found
under “Important Information” in the section “Connecting the
SAT Receiver to the Television”.
When using a different LNC than that indicated further up, the
frequency to be adjusted must be modified correspondingly.
See under “Buttons and Functions” in the section “Selecting
Programme/Frequency”.
Except for the 9.75 or 10 GHz LNC, the frequency to be ad-
justed can be determined according to the following conver-
sion example. In this case, the LNC oscillator frrequency of
10 GHz must be adjusted.
Conversion example:
M6 (Telecom 2 B), frequency = 012.522 GHz
less LNC oscillator frequency = –11.475 GHz
Result (1st IF): = 001.047 GHz
i.e. frequency to be set = 1047 MHz
