10.6 - EMERGENCY DISARMING WITH “GT CARD CODE”.
In case of emergency (i.e. the battery of the original vehicle handset is discharged, etc.) it is
possible to disarm the alarm system using the GT CARD CODE. It is necessary to carry out
the following procedure:
1 - Take the “GT CARD CODE” which you have received at the time of installation.
2 - Open the door with the original vehicle key, the alarm starts sounding for about 30 seconds.
3 - Enter the vehicle and close the door.
4 - Wait until the alarm stop sounding and keep the LED BUTTON depressed until the alarm
will start to emit a sequence of visual (indicators) /acoustic signals, this to confirm that you
have entered the emergency disarming procedure
Note: this operation must be carried out within 5 seconds from when the sounding of the
alarm, otherwise it remains armed; if the alarm starts sounding again, wait until it stops sounding
and repeat the operation.
5 - Within 10 seconds from the visual/acoustic signal, turn the ignition key in ON and OFF, the
LED BUTTON will illuminate (if you don’t carry out this procedure the alarm will remain armed;
you must repeat point no.4).
6 - When the LED is illuminated constantly, you have 10 seconds to enter your first number of
your “GT CARD CODE” (i.e. if the first number is 2 press the LED button twice).
7 - After 10 seconds the LED BUTTON will extinguish for 5 seconds.
8 - Once the LED will illuminate constantly, you have 10 seconds to enter the second number
of your “GT CARD CODE” (i.e. if the second number is 3 press the LED button three times).
9 - Proceed as indicated as in points 7 and 8 until you have entered the fourth number of the
code. If the code has been inserted correctly, the alarm will disarm; otherwise it will be necessary
to repeat the procedure from the point no.4.
10.7 - HOW TO ISOLATE ADDITIONAL SENSORS AND ULTRASONIC SENSOR WHEN
ARMING THE ALARM SYSTEM.
With the alarm disarmed keep the LED BUTTON situated on the dashboard depressed, until
it starts flashing. Leave the vehicle and arm the alarm. To remove this isolation, disarm and
then rearm the alarm without pressing the LED BUTTON.
10.8 - ANTI-HIJACK FUNCTION.
To activate the ANTI-HIJACK FUNCTION it is necessary that the system is disarmed and the
vehicle ignition key is on:
1 - To reserve the ANTI-HIJACK FUNCTION, press the ANTI-HIJACK BUTTON until the LED
BUTTON illuminates.
2 - With a second press of the ANTI-HIJACK FUNCTION BUTTON, the LED BUTTON will
switch off and the function will be disabled.
