Assembling and Construction - Fig. B-F

Assembling of supporting legs and wheel fastening is done

with the use of arrestment (Fig. B). Simply clamp

supporting legs and wheel fastening into arresting button

at the required height. Slide the wheel on the wheel

mounting, slip on a washer and fix it with the pin (Fig. C).

Slide the handle for out-balancing into the mounting and fix

it with the pins supplied (Fig. D).

Hang the fruit bin on the brackets (Fig. E).

Operation

Work area preparation

Grass at the work area should be as short as possible

(during harvest season, mow the grass regularly after each

collection). Remove all stones and other foreign objects

from collection area.

Height adjustment:

Set the height of the spiked drum with the use of a

spring pin, by changing the setting of supporting legs

arrestment and of the wheel mounting.

Make sure that the spiked drum is in contact with

grass; otherwise, it will not rotate!

Please note: The spiked drum height should be set

in a way will preventing the spikes stabbing the

ground. It should rotate approx. 5–10 mm above the

ground!

Apples or pears will be picked up by the spikes on the

drum and delivered to the fruit bin.

Fruit is removed from the spikes by a comb located

before the fruit drum.

When you wish to empty the fruit bin, simply lift it up

from its mountings.

The ergonomic construction allows easy and

comfortable pushing of this fallen fruit collector.

Do not let fallen fruit lie on the ground for too long, as

rotted fruit will fall off the spikes, making the lifting difficult.

Guarantee

The Guarantee covers exclusively the malfunctions caused

by material defects or by manufacturing defects. When

making a defect claim under the Guarantee, it is essential

to enclose the original purchase voucher stating the date

of purchase. The Guarantee does not cover the defects

due to unauthorized use, e.g. overloading of the machine,

application of force, and damage due to inappropriate use

by foreign action or by foreign objects. The cases of non-

compliance with operating instructions and assembly

instructions and the cases of fair wear and tear are also

excluded from the Guarantee cover.

Emergency Actions

Give first aid that is adequate to the injury, and get medical

help as soon as possible. Protect the injured person

against any further harm and place him/her in the recovery

position.

To be able to provide help in case of an accident, the

work place should always be equipped with a first aid

kit in accordance with DIN 13164. Materials used to

provide first aid should be replaced immediately to

keep the first aid kit complete.

When calling medical help, provide the following

information:

1. locality of the accident

2. type of accident

3. number of injured persons

4. type of injury
