Appliance-specific safety instructions
Persons in charge of operating appliances must check
the appliances for any visible defects on the operating
and safety equipment and whether protective equipment
is in place and works before starting their work.
The chief supervisor must be notified if any defects
are discovered !!
Given local regulations and respective electric protection
must be respected when using the appliances.
Keep safety distance from flammable items.
Unobstructed suction and air outlet must always be
provided.
The air outlet must not be narrowed or fitted with tubes
or hoses.
Never insert undesirable items in the appliances.
Appliances must not be covered when being operated.
The safety equipment must neither be bridged or
obstructed.
Appliances must not be operated immediately below the
wall outlet.
Appliances must not be exposed to direct water stream,
e.g. high-pressure cleaners, etc.
Water must never penetrate the appliances.
Appliances must not be installed and operated in an
environment with a risk of fire and explosion.
Appliances must not be installed and operated in an
atmosphere containing oil, sulphur and salt.
Protect all electric cables of appliances against damage,
even against damage by animals.
Appliances are locally individual electric heating
automatic machines for industrial use.
Appliances are only operated with electric energy and
have been designed for fully automatic, universal and
trouble-free use.
Appliances are fitted with specially enclosed electric
heating resistors, axial flow fans with reduced noise and
minimum servicing needs, safety thermostats and
additional cooling thermostats, room thermostat outlet
and electric cable with a ground contact outlet.
Appliances meet the basic requirements for safety and
hygiene of applicable EU provisions.
Appliances with safe operation and easy handling.
Keep sufficient distance from the wall and other items.
The protective grid gets warm. Do not put any items that
could burn or get melted in front of the protective grid.
Among other things, appliances are used to the
fo
llowing:
Drying of new buildings
Spot heating of outdoor workplaces or in halls and
factory spaces not at risk of fire.
Permanent or temporary heating of rooms.
Defrosting of machines, vehicles and fire-resistant
stored goods while keeping appropriate safety
distance.
The appliance may only be operated in electrical
network with RCD (safety switch against stray current).
It is necessary to keep the minimum safety
distance of 2
metres from flammable items and persons!
Behaviour in case of emergency
Provide necessary first aid treatment corresponding to the
injury nature and seek qualified medical help as soon as
possible.
Protect the injured person from other injuries and calm
him/her down.
In case of accident, first aid kit must always be available
in the place of your work in accordance with DIN 13164.
Material taken out of the first aid kit needs to be
supplemented right away.
If help is needed, please provide the following details:
1. Place of accident
2. Accident nature
3. Number of injured persons
4. Injury type
Use as designated
The electric heater is only to be used to heat well ventilated
spaces, dry new buildings, spot heat of outdoor workplaces or
in fireproof halls or production spaces while following
applicable safety regulations and keeping safety distances.
Any other use will be considered a use in conflict with the
designation. The manufacturer will not be liable for any
consequential damage and injuries. Please be sure to know
that the appliance has not been designed for industrial
purposes.
Residual risks and protective measures
Electrical residual risks:
Direct electric contact:
May lead to electric shock. To be operated only
in electrical network with a safety switch against stray
current.
Indirect electric contact:
May lead to electric shock. To be operated only
in electrical network with a safety switch against
stray current
Thermal residual risks:
Burns, chilblains:
Contact with the protective grid and appliance cabinet
may
cause burns. Avoid such structural
elements.
Disposal
The disposal instructions are based on icons placed on the
appliance or its package. The description of the meanings can
be found in the “Marking“ section.
Transport package disposal
The package protects the appliance against damage during
transport. Packing materials are usually chosen based on
their environmental friendliness and disposal method and can
therefore be recycled.
Returning the package to material circulation saves raw
materials and reduces waste disposal costs.
Parts of packages (e.g. foils, styropor®) can be dangerous to
children. Risk of suffocation!
Keep parts of packages away from children and dispose them
as soon as possible.
Operator requirements
The operator must carefully read the Operating Instructions
before using the appliance.
