Lock and Sock in Search of Treasure
A long time ago, the notorious pirate Broadsword hid away
some treasure, but up until now nobody has ever found it.
Today, however, the two little pirate friends Lock and Sock
have spotted the treasure map. It took a long time to work
out the clues, but they did it! And now they sail on a ship
across the sea until they reach the right island. Will they find
the treasure?

Repeat the rhymes various times. Attentive listening and
observing will help your child comprehend the relation bet-
ween the spoken words and the action. Then recite and play
the rhyme together with your child.
Of course you can invent stories yourself with finger puppets
as characters. Carry out small movements accompanying
them with short sentences: For example you welcome each
other with the puppets and makeabow to each other.
Once your child is acquainted with the finger puppets, you
can try out the different game ideas. In this manner you play-
fully foster early games with rules.The game ideas can also
be played without an adult.
