Game 1: Start in the barn!

For this game, you‘ll need:

the board, animal sounds buzzer, 4 pasture cards, 25 animal tiles

Set the buzzer to position A.

Preparation:

Place the game board on the table so that everyone can reach it.

Place the buzzer on the board according to the image, so that it

clicks into the holes. Both spaces with the thicker wavy lines should

show the limits between the muck heaps and the buzzer on the

game board.

Shufﬂe the animal tiles face down and place one face up on each

of the 8 spaces on the board. Place the rest face down as a deck

beside the board. Take a good look at the eight animal tiles on the

board and try to memorize them; then turn the tiles over.

Each player takes a pasture card and places it with the animal side

face down in front of them.

How to play:

Play in a clockwise direction. Whoever can best cluck like a chicken, starts by pressing the buzzer.

Is an animal noise sounding or is a buzzer lighting up on a space?

➞ An animal noise sounds: Think about where the animal tile is for the animal that you have just heard.

Turn over the corresponding tile.

Important! If you‘re not sure which animal sound you heard, just wait a moment. The buzzer will repeat

the animal sound again repeating until you press the buzzer again.

e a new animal tile from the deck, show it to everyone, and lay it face down on the space.

➞ A buzzer lamp lights up: The buzzer lamp indicates a face down animal tile. Do you know which animal

is hidden underneath? Say this animal on this animal tile out loud and then

turn the tile over to see if you

were right.

Then the next player takes their turn and presses the buzzer.

Warning: Each animal has ﬁve tiles. It can happen in rare cases that an animal noise sounds, even though all ﬁve animals have already been collected

and are lying on the pasture cards. In this case, you may look for any other animal of your choice and imitate it. Then turn a tile over to see if it was the

same as the noise you made.

If you hear an animal sound that is not placed face down on the board, even though all ﬁve tiles have not yet been collected, then that‘s bad luck.

End of the game:

The ﬁrst player to collect the ﬁve animal tiles of their choice and place them on their pasture card wins the game.

Tip: The game is a little easier if you leave the animals face up after you make incorrect guesses.
