Game 1: Little ghostly alphabet
Who will be the first to stamp two words thereby winning the game?
Preparation
The game board is placed in the center of the table. Put an empty sheet
in the frame of the game board.
Then you put …
• any five stamps inside any four ghost tins
• any six stamps inside one ghost tins.
Close the tins.
The ghost cards are shuffled. Each player gets a ghost card and puts it
face up in front of them. The remaining cards are placed in a pile face
down next to the game board.
Finally, the inkpad is placed on the table, opened and within everyone´s
easy reach.
How to Play
The player with the shortest name starts. If there are various players with
equally short names, the younger player starts.
Choose a ghost tin, open it and secretly take a look. Compare the letters
inside the tin with the first letter of the word on your card.
• The first letter is not inside the tin?
Pity! Unfortunately you may not stamp a letter.
• The first letter of your word is inside the tin?
Great! You can take the letter stamp out of the tin. Choose a place on
the sheet and stamp the letter on it.
Carry on and see if the second letter is also inside the tin. If it is, you
can stamp it as well.
Important:
•You always have to find the letters in the right order.
•You can use all the stamps of a tin, as long as they are stamped in
the right order and without a gap.
