1. Explanation of Warning Symbols and Notes

Risk of electric shock

This symbol indicates product parts energized with a

dangerous voltage of sucient magnitude to constitute

arisk of electric shock.

This symbol is used to indicate safety instructions or to

draw your attention to specichazards and risks.

Note

This symbol is used to indicate additional information or

important notes.

3. Safety notes

• This product is intended for private, non-commercial use

only.

• Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of

heaters, other heat sources or in direct sunlight.

• Protect the product from dirt, moistureand overheating,

and only use it in dry locations.

• Keep this product, as all electrical products, out of the

reach of children!

• Children arenot permitted to play with the device.

Children may not clean the product or perform user

maintenance without supervision.

• Do not use the product in areas wherethe use of

electronic products is not permitted.

• Be considerate. Loud volumes can have adetrimental

effect on your surroundings.

• Since the battery is integrated and cannot be removed,

you will need to dispose of the product as awhole. Do

this in compliance with the legal requirements.

• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any

major shocks.

• Do not operate the product outside the power limits

given in the specications.

• Keep children away from the packaging material as there

is arisk of suffocation.

• Dispose of packaging material immediately according to

locally applicable regulations.

• Do not modify the device in any way.Doing so voids the

warranty.

• Only operate the product in ambient temperatures

between -10° Cand 50° C.

• Only storethe product in ambient temperatures between

-20° Cand 60° C.

Risk of electric shock

• Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it

becomes damaged.

• Do not use the product if den AC adapter,adapter

cable or power cable is damaged.

• Do not attempt to service or repair the product

yourself.Leave any and all service work to qualied

experts.

4. Getting started and operation

Note

• The product is mains or battery operated. Formains

operation, you merely have to connect the product

to apower source (see Section 4.2). Forbattery

operation, the product must rst be fully charged (see

Section 4.1).

Note

• Only use original accessories (or accessories approved

by Hama), to prevent damage to the product.

Notes on use

• Connect the product to asocket that has been

approved for the device.

• If you will not be using the product for along period

of time, disconnect it from mains power.
