turn properly.

the roller ring 5 is not correctly

positioned underneath the

glass rotary plate 3.

Positioning the rotary plate drive 4 and/or the

roller ring 5 correctly.

The rotary plate drive 4, the

roller ring 5, and/or the floor

of the cooking chamber are

soiled.

Clean the rotary plate drive 4, the roller ring 5

and/or the cooking chamber floor.

Scratching, grind-

ing sounds in the

cooking chamber.

The glass rotary plate 3, the

rotary plate drive 4 and/or the

roller ring 5 are not turning

correctly.

Position the glass rotary plate 3, the rotary

plate drive 4 and/or the roller ring 5 correctly.

The food dish is either too

large or is positioned incor-

rectly.

Use a smaller container. The container may

not 3 protrude over the edge of the glass rota-

ry plate.

Exploding, pop-

ping sounds in the

cooking chamber.

Foods are cooked or thawed

at too high a temperature.

Cancel the setting and reselect a lower power

level.

Other noises or

flashes of light in

the cooking cham-

ber.

Sparks – metallic objects in

the cooking chamber.

Pull out the mains plug immediately and re-

move the metal.

Door/viewing win-

dow 1 steams up.

Moisture is escaping from the

food. This is normal.

Wipe up the moisture after operation.

The dish does not

heat up enough.

The power or time is set too

low.

Warm the food for a little longer in the micro-

wave.

The dish was very cold when

being placed inside.

Container is unsuitable if it be-

comes hotter than the dish.

Use a suitable container.

The dish is cooked

unevenly.

The dish was not sufficiently

rotated or stirred.

Stir or turn the dish. Then warm the dish a lit-

tle while longer in the microwave.

The microwave

oven emits odours.

This happens when the tubu-

lar heating elements are used

for the first time.
