BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Unpack the dehumidiﬁer, remove all plastic bags, inserts and safety locks and closures. If the

appliance has been in a position other than vertical, wait at least 24 hours before switching

it on.

2. Verify that your power mains match the nameplate ratings of the dehumidiﬁer.

3. Install the carbon ﬁlter (14) in the pre-ﬁlter (12) (see: “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE”).

4. Check if the water tank (9) has been installed properly (see: “EMPTYING THE WATER TANK”).

5. The ﬁrst use should be as long as possible, preferably 24 hours.

USE OF THE APPLIANCE

1. Place the appliance on a level, stable and smooth sur-

face. Maintain at least 20 cm of empty space on each

side of the appliance to ensure free air circulation (Fig.

1).

2. Close the windows in the room in which the appliance

is intended to run. The dehumidiﬁer will not be able to

decrease humidity otherwise. Ongoing air exchange

might have a negative eﬀect on the expected results.

If you want to dehumidify the air in the entire house,

open the doors between the rooms and remember to

close all windows.

WARNING! The device is recommended for rooms with an area of 20-30 m

3. Plug the dehumidiﬁer in.

4. Turn the dehumidiﬁer on by pressing the switch (2a) – the indicator light (2i) will light up,

indicating operation, the display (2t) will show the current RH level and the fan will start up.

CAUTION! Do not move the appliance during operation.

5. Press the mode button (2b) to choose dehumidifying (SMART) – the indicator light will light

up (2r). In this mode, the dehumidiﬁer will try to maintain humidity at 55%. The humidity

level is shown on the display (2t).

CAUTION! The dehumidiﬁer is only used to lower the relative humidity. The dehumidiﬁer is not able to humi-

dify the air.

6. To set a diﬀerent humidity level, push the button (2b) to select LOW or HIGH fan speed. Only

these two modes allow humidity levels diﬀerent than 55%. Set a target humidity level by

pressing the humidity/time navigation buttons (2c, 2d). The selected level will pulse for a

moment and the display will show the current RH level again. It may be set from 35 to 80% at

5% steps. The appliance will operate until the selected level is reached, then compressor turn

oﬀ and turn back on when humidity increases. The dehumidiﬁer fan will work all the time.

The LOW mode decreases the fan speed to the absolute minimum, while in the HIGH mode

the dehumidiﬁer will reach the selected humidity as quickly as possible.

CAUTION! To ensure eﬃcient operation, the controller allows the operation to be interrupted below the select-

ed level and resumed above the selected level (up to 3%) with a delay .
