HISENSE W A RRANTY
TERMS AND CONDIT IONS
3. This w arranty: -
a. covers p roducts pur chased as NE W, manufactured for use in Mainland
Australia and Tas mania;
b. commences fro m the date of purchase as listed on the Custo mers
invoice;
c. provides for the labour an d replacem ent parts necessary to main tain your
product in goo d opera ting condition as specified in this w arranty how ever,
if repair is needed be cause o
f product failu re during normal u sage,
Hisense has the option to repair or replace the defective produc t or part
of the product w ith a product or part of t
he produc t of like kind and quality
and a replace ment part may be new or reconditioned of like kind a nd
quality and may cost l ess than the original pr oduct purcha sed and no
charges or refu nds will be ma de based on the rep lacement produ ct cost
difference;

4. Product Identification
a. H isense re serves the ri ght to rejec
t claims for any services or w ork w here
the Custome r requesting such w ork or servi ces from H isense and /or its
agents cannot p roduce for verification th e serial nu mber and the proof of
purchase as p er original purchase invoice.
b. The w arranty will be voided i f any Serial Number sti cker provided to be
placed on the equipm ent is
damaged, m odified or re moved.
c. In the e
vent that a request for repair is made ag ainst a w arranty where
the Serial Number s ticker is not attached to the produ ct or the customer
cannot produce for verification the original in
voice, the repairer w ill not
affect any repa irs on the prod uct and the C ustomer w ill be charged a
service call-o ut fee.
5. W hat is co vered by this w arranty
a. The equip ment is covered for faulty w orkmanship on par ts that have
failed under normal use w hich ar
e co ntained w ithin the produ ct.
b. Hisense and /or its Agents w ill decide i f there are any defects i n the
material and/or w orkmanship
c. This w arranty is only applicable for repair
s on declared equi pment carried
out w ithin Mainland Au stralia and Ta smania
6. W hat is not Co vered by this w arranty (ex cluded):-
a. any da mage or failure:
i. of equipment du e to the produ ct being inadequately serviced to
manufacturer’s reco mmendations;
ii. resulting from en vironmental conditions including and no t
limited to
dirt, dust, rodent s, insects, rust, cor rosion, salt buil t-up, of any part
of the produ ct in cluding its par ts; or
iii. resulting fro m exce ssive use
“fair w ear and te ar”;
iv. resulting fro m poor installation i ncluding and no t limited to
positioning a nd externally fi tted equip ment such as plumbing and
drainage, cabling, antennae or due to Incompatibili ty of connected
equipment;
v. to the pro duct cau sed by o verheating a s a resul t of sitin g or
positioning o f the equipme
nt, w here there is not provi sion for
adequate vent
ilation o r a
dust fr ee en vironment;
vi. caused if your appliance has been dismantled, repaired or ser viced
by any per son other than some one aut
horised by Hisen se;
vii. to a product or co mponents, cau sed by pow er surges or spikes,
including and not limi ted to, mains pow er and telecom munications
connections, o r to other unspe cified sources, in correct pow er
current, voltage fluctuation , amperage fluctuation, rus t or corro sion
;
viii. due to a dropp ed produc t; collision w ith another object, use of w hich
is not desig ned, negligenc e, accident or delibera te misuse, the ft,
abuse, vandalism, flood, fire, earthquake,
electrical stor ms or any
other act of God or any w ar related even ts;
b. costs of attenda nce and testing w here no mech anical or ele ctrical
failure is identified;
c. initial setup an d installati on of the pr oduct;
d. Normal main tenance cost s and costs incurr ed through the installa tion
of items
listed a s requiring periodi c replacemen t;
e. produ c ts with re moved or al tered ser ial nu mbers;
f. consumables su ch as but no t limited to bul bs/globes, ba tteries, rem ote
controls;
g. rem oval and reinstalla tion of an
internal comp onent not performed by a
fac tor y au thor ise d se rvic e c ent re;
h. cosmetic or structural items including shelves and doors;
i. Any fail ures due to th e interference from or to other p roducts and /or
sources;
j. Inability of the produ ct to read o r ou
tput damaged or copie d media;
7. The Warranty C eases if: -
a. The product ceases to carry the or iginal manu facturer’s serial nu mber
or is sold at an auc tion;
b. The pr odu ct is ren ted;
c. Damage to the produ ct has oc
curred as li sted in point 6b.
d. Failure to pay monie s ow ing on invoice s as a re sult of non w arranty
work been carried ou t at the req uest of the end u ser as p er point 15 .
8. Neither Hisense nor i ts representati ves provide loan equi pment under the
ter
ms of this warranty.
9. Our goods come w ith guarantee s that can not be ex cluded under the
Australian Co nsumer Law s. You are entitled to a replacement or refund
for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably
foreseeable lo ss or da mage. You are also
entitled to h ave the goods
repaired or rep laced if the goods fail to be of acceptable qu ality and the
failure does not amoun t to a major failure.
10. Any unauthorised a ccess to the internal har dw are
of the produ ct will void
this w arranty.
11. R eplacemen t items are “Like for lik e” and is not “new for old” and does
not indica te in any w ay that a faul ty product w ill be replaced w ith a new
part or unit. “Like fo r like” may either be a quality chec ked (QC)
refurbished or recondit
ioned unit of the same or later batch o f mo del/siz e
/specifications.
12. If y ou reside ou tside of the service coverage area of your n earest
authorised service agen t, this warranty does no t cover the
costs of
transportation or tr avel expenses to and fro m your home.
13. Hisense accepts no liability for i tems that are lo st, damaged , or stolen as
a result of freight, tran sport or stora ge. If you are required to transport the
appliance to an authori sed service centre, you must ensure that it is
securely packed and insured .
14. On Public
Holidays or o ther period s when regular busines s and
wholesale opera tions are temporar ily ceased, rep airer availabil ity and
warranty respon se
times may extend beyond the standard resp onse
times due to the avail ability of rep airers an d parts.
15. Special Conditions relating to Plasma TV’s, LCD TV’s, Panels , Projection
Television and Pro jections E quipment
a. All LCD and Plasma Pan els exhibit some brig ht, dark or p artially lit
pixels, a normal lim itation of these tech nologies, and the
manufacturing pro cesses involved a nd are
usually not noticeable w hen
viewing nor mal scre en image s and defec tive pixels are no t a w arranty
i
ssue unless they exceed the man ufacturer’s spe cifications for pixel
defects. Where there are no man ufacturer specifications, Hi sense
covers the screen pro vided for 12 or more pix els that are failing to
display
b. I mage retention or bur n-in can be a problem for all phosphor ba sed
displays. In extr eme cases, perm anent phosphor burn can occur if
still/repetitive i mages are left on t
he screen for extended peri ods of
time. Such da mage to the screen is not covered
by the w arranty.
Please ensure that the precautions i n any documentation supplied w ith
your produ ct are follow ed in order to avoid permanen t damage to your
display.
c. Where a product is po sitioned hi gher than 1 .2m fro m the lowest m ount
point, is w all/ceiling mounted o r w here aftermarket moun ts and/or
stands are used, or w here the u nit has n ot been installed by a
professional i nstaller, an ex tra service charge w ill apply to un fix and
refix this pr oduct.
16. Any repair perf
ormed on a product under the warranty w here no faul t can
be found, or the item i s deemed by Hisense, or a n authori sed Hisense
agent, to be not faulty under this w arranty, or the repair or fault is not
covered under the w arranty, a No Fault Found fee is payable by the
warranty h
older of a mini mum of $125 inc GST.
17. Any repairs or se rvices requi red that are ou tside of the terms and
conditions o f the w arranty can be car
ried out a t the request of the
customer or d ue to si te at
tendance w ere fault i s not co vered under
warranty as th e product not been installe d or setup cor rectly; a cre dit
card may be required prio r to the co mmencement o f such se rvices.

1. HISENSE Australia will provide parts and labour to you the Customer as set
out herein.
2. Nothing in the warranty, limits any rights you may have under the trade
practices act or any other Commonwealth or State Legislation. Such rights
cannot be changed by the conditions in this warranty. Subject to the
conditions below this appliance is warranted by Hisense and/or its Agents to
be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 36 months
and 12 months on Remote & 3D glasses from the date of purchase (the
“Warranty period”)
