Tuning by LANG (Language service)
For each SC (Service Channel program), the language is
included as transmission data.
Checking the current LANG of the SC
1. Press the MODE button.
“MODE” appears in the display window for 10 seconds.
“BC WORLD” in the illustration is just an example.
2. Press the LANG button while “MODE” is lit.
The current language appears in the display window for
2 seconds.
Tuning by LANG
3. Press the LANG button.
“LANG” and the current language (the factory preset is
“ENGLISH”) appear in the display window. After 5
seconds the language disappears and “LANG” remains.
4. While the language is lit, press SC UP (:) repeatedly
until the desired language appears in the display
window.
The language changes as the following listed order by
pressing SC UP (:) repeatedly.
5. Press the ENTER button or wait for 10 seconds.
Even if you do not press the ENTER button, “LANG”
remains lit and the BC name appears after 10 seconds.
6. Press BC/FREQ UP(8) or BC/FREQ DOWN(9).
The unit searches for all applicable SCs in the beam.
The SC that was located first is heard.
When no SC is located, “NO LANG” appears.
7. Press BC/FREQ UP(8) or BC/FREQ DOWN(9)
repeatedly until the desired SC is heard.
NOTES:
• To check the language during LANG select mode
Press the LANG button. The language appears.
• To stop LANG select mode
Press the LANG button twice while “LANG” is lit.
“LANG” disappears from the display window.
• To perform LANG search again
8. Press the LANG button.
The language which was selected previously appears.
9. Try to search again referring to steps 6 and 7.

Syntonisation par service de langue (LANG)
La langue est incluse dans les données de transmission de
chaque programme de canal de service (SC).
Vérification du LANG actuel du SC
1. Appuyez sur la touche MODE.
“MODE” apparaît sur l’affichage pendant 10 secondes.
“BC WORLD” repris sur l’illustration est un simple
exemple.
2. Appuyez sur la touche LANG alors que le témoin
“MODE” est allumé.
La langue actuelle demeure affichée pendant 2
secondes.
Syntonisation par LANG
3. Appuyez sur la touche LANG.
“LANG” et la langue actuelle (il s’agit d’origine de
“ENGLISH”) s’affichent. La langue disparaît 5 secondes
plus tard, mais l’indication “LANG” demeure affichée.
4. Alors que la langue est affichée, appuyez à plusieurs
reprises sur la touche SC UP (:) jusqu’à ce que la
langue souhaitée apparaisse sur l’affichage.
Appuyez à plusieurs reprises sur la touche SC UP (:)
pour faire défiler les langues dans l’ordre suivante.
5. Appuyez sur la touche ENTER ou attendez 10
secondes.
Si vous n’appuyez pas sur la touche ENTER, le témoin
“LANG” demeure allumé et le nom du BC apparaît 10
secondes plus tard.
6. Appuyez sur la touche BC/FREQ UP(8) ou BC/FREQ
DOWN(9).
L’appareil recherche tous les SC utiles dans le faisceau.
Vous entendez le premier SC trouvé.
Si aucun SC n’est trouvé, l’indication “NO LANG”
s’affiche.
7. Appuyez à plusieurs reprises sur la touche BC/FREQ
UP(8) ou BC/FREQ DOWN(9) jusqu’à ce que vous
entendiez le SC souhaité.
REMARQUES:
• Pour vérifier la langue en mode de sélection LANG
Appuyez sur la touche LANG. La langue s’affiche.
• Pour quitter le mode de sélection LANG
Appuyez deux fois sur la touche LANG alors que le
témoin “LANG” est allumé.
“LANG” disparaît de l’affichage.
• Pour exécuter une nouvelle recherche de LANG
8. Appuyez sur la touche LANG.
La langue précédemment sélectionnée apparaît.
9. Exécutez une nouvelle recherche en suivant les étapes
6 et 7.
